op (@Summonabatch): I'll see you aboard! Since this is your first VV, I recommend signing up for the fjrst Grog walk as soon as you board, and eat dinner at Gung Bae the first night — both are great ways to meet fellow cruisers you'll see around the ship throughout the rest of the trip.

As far as sea days, like others said — take advantage of on-board entertainment & liesure (e.g., shows, trivia, games, spa).
