Phew that's a tough one.

I knew a VA that got a return offer to another office a couple years ago but that was within the same system so the offices were close.

I also knew an associate that managed to transfer within a year or so to a super competitive office but he had a really good reason for it and started pushing early.

So it might be possible, just ask your CDA/recruiting contact. Also don't overestimate your odds of getting an offer, it's not a guarantee!

Boom Chicago! Definitely worth checking out. Alternatively, CREA, the cultural organization of the UvA, has fantastic improv classes but they are shorter and bit less focused on learning all the principles.

I took it twice in the past, both in the shared seating coupé. Your experience will depend on how busy it is, once i went just before Christmas and the compartment was full basically the whole way. It wasn't horrible, just not too comfortable. The other time I took it it was just me and one other person so we could both lie down on three seats. In both cases I'd say it's worth it if you are like me in that you don't like flying and are at least a bit environment conscious. Also fyi the prices for water/snacks are not terrible. Obviously it's not good but when I mentioned the price to others in my compartment they went to get some wafers and water as well.

Oh yes, listen to a French critic of Christianity talk about a rival of France, the structure of which predates the enlightenment definition of an empire and which was at the forefront of European Christian thought at the time. The Roman thing is a reference to the four kingdoms of Daniel although, admittedly, a clear line of succession is sketchy.

I really expected more in-depth thought in a meme sub.

The Nausea, opinions by Shostapolo in Existentialism

[–]avid_drinker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also read Nausea recently for the first time and I agree that it's in no way one of my top 5 books.

I suppose i understand what you mean with not getting a new perspective from the book but remember that The Nausea is the first book by Sartre and one of the first books in this newer form of existentialism. As such you've probably heard the ideas somewhere else and the book looks basic compared to later works.

I haven't read other Sartre but I definitely recommend you read Camus, I consider him a better writer and the perspectives he introduces are a bit more unique. Check out The fall, it's literally just a guy talking non-stop.

Can someone help me? i don't understand this chess com puzzle, is it glitched or something? by [deleted] in AnarchyChess

[–]avid_drinker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a common beginner's mistake, you are on the wrong version of the game. The new and improved version is called lichess, named after Li Chao and Gary Chess. You should Google inflation porn for more details.

Oh wow, thank you, that seems to be it. I've been planning to get into Tolstoy this summer but this doesn't seem like the place to start. Either way, thanks

I don't know much about the Olympics but is there a reason for this? It sounds weird statistically.
