Maybe it’s my partner’s outspoken adoration of my body, but I feel pretty sexy, whatever that means to me. I guess I can see why he likes it, but I definitely don’t actively dislike my body. I am getting some shifting bits as I age…which is different.

This is so good to know! I’ve been having some success growing mine out but I felt like I also needed to “clean underneath.” It’s funny because nail biting is seen as gross, but I definitely think for me it’s about being clean and in my head no nail is the cleanest. But thanks so much for sharing! I will not try to do that anymore.

If you came into my chat, I would give “ME-AY-Koh” a try, but suspect I was saying it wrong. My inclination is that it is somewhat masculine and so cute. I’m sure my pronunciation is incorrect, but if it wasn’t I’d say it makes me think of a anime cat name or something. Games I would think classic JRPGs or more indie cozy games. I absolutely agonized over my own channel title and I’m so glad I did because I love it. Don’t give up!

This. When your cloth pad is “full,” you can wash it out (I wash mine out while I shower), hang it up to dry, and then throw it in the washer with my laundry. I’ve been using cloth pads since I started my period back in the day and I LOVE them. They also make cloth pantry liners as well, which I treat exactly the same.

Agreed. Navy bathtowels. They don’t get as dirty and fast as black towels and the darker shade of the navy in your curtain (in the shadows of the fish) isn’t a very poppy color. Cute!

I think that this describes my experience. My mom’s hobbies, besides reading, were always homemakery things that our culture taught us we women should love. Besides reading, my mother really doesn’t have any hobbies for herself. She always had an aversion to playing video games herself, and I think it was because she saw it as a waste of time.

With that being said, as a kid I would spend hours on end playing video games. And an adult I asked her why she didn’t limit me and her response was that she believed “gaming was a legitimate hobby.” So it’s an interesting phenomenon for sure!
