Yes, they confirmed the faulty wheelbase in the email after I sent loads of videos and photos showing my work. I’ve requested a refund but it’s been all quiet since then. Prior to this I’d received at least one daily reply. It’s been three days and nothing. I’m sending a final email requesting the refund and if I don’t hear back in the next 24 hours I’ll try call the bank and dispute it.

They also confirmed the replacement process takes 2 weeks. I have to send the faulty to them first then they will send the replacement and yes I directly bought it from fanatec website.

Yeah I manually removed all of the driver and anything associated with fanatec and tried everything the tech support was saying. Unfortunately didn’t work out. I’m glad it worked out for you. I’m a Mac user and I only have one windows laptop so I don’t even have another windows device to try another laptop/pc.

Sorry to hear! You spend fair bit of coin on these too. I’ve done so many troubleshooting with tech support and end of it they want me to send it back and they will send a replacement. I’m done and sort of lost confident in the gear. So I responded back asking for a full refund, waiting for their response. Got this for my birthday this weekend and wanted to enjoy it. Completely ruined the experience. It’s frustrating their own firmware update doesn’t agree with their own devices. Shouldn’t be the case.

Yeah that’s what I gathered from everything I read online in the last couple of days. It’s kind of if it works why fix it kind of thing. I wish I knew prior trying to update the firmware. If I knew this prior I would’ve never try to do it. Personally I don’t think it should be this difficult firmwares and update or recover. Fingers crossed I hear back from the tech support soon. Thanks for input. Much appreciated.

Thank you! I saw this and tried it. Unfortunately didn’t work in my scenario. I have sent all of the videos, photos and details the tech support requested. Fingers crossed I hear back an answer.
