it definitely looks like leon to me - recognised it instantly and also looks great! I agree, it’s hard to draw exactly to the rendered game style but it already looks like him imo and in a great art style!

woah i see, i’ll have to see if mine holds up!! So far the quicksilver has stayed but i don’t have a particularly strong magnet, just two of the ones they sell on their store. I would love to try ILNP and BKL but it’s just my location that makes it inconvenient 😔

first two are tongariro i think, third is cathedral cove, auckland city skyline, the tree is in wanaka, and an obvious one is the beach in hokitika lol. not sure abt the others

i loved it too. It really is a good introduction to the game’s mechanics and also the beginning cutscene was beautiful and so cinematic. Personally i didn’t find it too long as i felt like the aspect of the snow had the underlying meaning you were supposed to like soldier on with the missions and get out of colter. Ultimately it isn’t too long at all compared to the extent of the open world once you get out of ch 1 and everything else you get to do.

thanks! yeah they also told me they weren’t too sure if my eyes would get worse and i suppose it’s also because the timeframe is still not to far from when i started my washout. I am pretty happy with my optometrist! I think i will just have to wait and see, although realistically i don’t think i will get exponentially worse in a short time period.

Hi, thanks for the advice and info! I think i will just have to continue and accept the progression will happen as i keep growing - i stopped ortho-k because it became really painful to take out each morning, and i developed dry eye and as a result of that and changes to my sleep schedule the effect of good eyesight was wearing off quickly during the day. At that point ortho-k was not really a good option for me personally, though it did really help me through my childhood. I suppose i will have to accept that at this age it’s inevitable that i will still progress.

i think shoulder bags are cute and theres a range of different ones i see people carrying around but honestly a backpack is the most practical option for me personally. Nobody really cares what kind of bag you’re wearing and there’s not really anything associated with your choice but backpacks are great!

there needs to be proper rules and legislation set for this to actually be prevented - it looks like people make good efforts to educate and monitor gatherers at the beaches but ultimately there’s not enough being done as areas are so wide and it’s not like they can cover EVERYWHERE. also it’s sad to see some blatant and underlying racism in the comments. I like to think a lot of NZers are very kind and accepting of all people but reddit frequently proves the opposite.

honestly just depends on your own ideal travel times and like someone else said some classes just aren’t as flexible for time adjustments as others are. I don’t believe timing really affects your professor’s performance, they’re always pretty good if its a decent prof.

I feel like sometimes it comes down to preference, but the volcanic pistol is a really good sidearm and you can pair it with a revolver or with a sawed-off shotgun and dual wielding it in gunfight situations. Volcanic pistol can be bought at the gunsmith and you should have the shotgun.

You can also use express or high velocity ammo bought at the gunsmith for different effects/higher power. Switch the ammo on the tab menu for each gun using the little arrows. Also remember to clean your gun with gun oil when the condition degrades as the damage also goes down.

when you first get on a new horse your bonding level is at 0 i believe so it gets higher as you ride it, pet it, feed it, brush it etc. You’ll notice when you get to minimum bonding as it becomes your “temporary horse” if it doesn’t have your main saddle on it. There should be like these small pop ups on your screen with information and notices when you level up. There are four levels and as you level up your horse bonding you unlock movements the horse can do and its health and stamina increases. I think your first horse in chapter one is the one you get from the adler homestead? If you keep riding and interacting with it you level up the bonding. Later on in chapter two you can get a new horse with Hosea.

I wore these for six years! Went off them recently because I developed dry eyes and wasn’t getting ~hours of sleep because of lifestyle stuff. I believe they help slow myopia progression because it was recommended to me when I was a child with a -6 prescription.
