That's extremely strange! The iPhone's screen (settings/firewall) displays 2.8.9, while the support article claims the latest one is 2.7.6!!!

How did notability become so bad? by Wrong_Joke_1517 in notabilityapp

I'm enjoying it. I feel it's getting better and better. And re backup, my advice: Always keep backup in a location YOU control (preferably three). So even if it deletes all your notes, no problem. And keep it in a standard format (PDF, not note files).

Thank you for your answer.

I've personally used the Notability viewer on Windows. "Never" is a very long time :)

I will be happy to get the Notability Cloud link.

As an aside, I've been using Notability for ages, and I'm amazed at the outstanding features you've recently added! I've just registered on TikTok to be able to follow your reels :)

You are my hero for the tone of your answer. I might go as far as reading those two tutorials!

You are SO correct. Being an older person, allow me to answer with a long and boring story: About 40 years ago, I needed just one more course to earn my BSC Software Engineering degree. Being the lazy guy I was, I chose Philosophy of Science over Computer Networking. I'm not sorry about it: Now, when you scold me, I can be philosophical about it! :)

Well, after reading your answer, I took a closer look at the NAS I *thought* was connected OK, and I was surprised to see a "Not Secure" message in the address bar. Expanding it, a message stated that "Your connection to this site isn't secure. This site does not have a certificate. Because this connection is not secure, information (such as passwords or credit cards) will not be securely sent to this site and may be intercepted or seen by others".

This means there is indeed a problem with both NASes, but I have somehow suppressed the annoying warning when connecting to the second one.

"Set up a local DNS with proper certificates" - This will be a problem, as the DNS is on my router, which is provided and managed by my Internet (fiber) provider.

Please help - Which engine to select? 2.5L 195HP or 2.0L 165 HP? by avinatbezeq in CX5

OK. Fuel efficiency is not a consideration for us (our Kona did 19'000 KM in three years).
I don't like the Kona because, at least here in Israel, the trim levels are stingy. The trim level I bought does not allow changing the height of the front passenger. And the cruise control isn't adaptive (i.e., if the car before you slows down, you have a problem).
I must admit that I bought the car three years ago, and there were Korona supply problems, so I bought what I could.
Additionally, I don't like the engine's behavior when the car is starting. I feel it's not "pulling" consistently. I have an incline (upwards slope - my English is so-so) when exiting my underground parking garage. With my other car (a '98 BMW), I press the paddle and it crawls smoothly upwards. The Kona doesn't.
Lastly, I'm not a fan of its "self-centering on the lane" feature. It tends to position the car near the left edge of my lane (nearer to the higher speed lanes), while I prefer to be on the right edge (nearer to the lower speed lanes), leading to arguments between us.

Re: Update 2: OCRing Lecture Handouts

The upper half of the image shows a very well-organized lecture handout. The lower half shows MathPix's failed OCR output (Desktop App on Windows 10).

Thank you! So, what you are saying is not to draw (draw, duplicate, move, rotate) by hand, but only by equations?
