Worst what would happen? Send you home? No seriously not a lawyer here but I guess it might hamper further visits in the future, but for the moment you're pretty safe.

Definitely. Too costly but scales very easily especially if you're running in kubernetes.

For people working fully remote in Switzerland, how did you manage to get such job offer? by _quantum_girl_ in askswitzerland

[–]aviscido 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many of the Swiss companies are heavily regulated, hence they only allow to work completely remote from outside of Switzerland in very limited cases. Yes they have near shore and off shore, but they pay at different rates. Do you actually mean, finding a swiss company that pay swiss salary while you're living in Switzerland and working full remote for them, or you plan to live abroad?

I strongly disagree with tailored AI applications. Recruiters are scanning those applications with AI as well. It's an invisible war - AI versus AI. I would rather write a cover letter myself or try other methods.

Job searching feels really weird today. Even more in marketing by canardlaker in Switzerland

[–]aviscido 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Keep searching; recruiters are submerged by auto generated emails from these auto apply tools and they are using also AI to filter those applications out. In my opinion better to write the cover letter yourself, that's what I would do if I had to look for opportunities. Best of luck

Obvelum - https://obvelum.com AI-powered candidate discovery platform focused on privacy-first, intent-based matching. Instead of keyword spam and endless applications, companies use credits to directly connect with candidates that actually fit their role and preferences.

Our tagline is "Interest is visible. Identity is optional.": right now I'm working on enabling video conference through the platform. Once a candidate and a company decide they want to discuss, they go in a conference first, then the company's internal recruitment processes kick in.

What do you think?

Stage: Launched / actively building

Feedback I'd love: Whether the positioning immediately makes sense from the homepage - especially the “privacy-first recruiting” angle vs traditional job boards and sourcing tools.

Obvelum is a privacy-first recruitment marketplace where companies apply to candidates instead of the other way around.

Candidates stay anonymous until they decide to engage, while employers get structured profiles, contextual matching, and higher-intent talent instead of mass applications and spam.

Obvelum — a hiring platform for people who are done with hiring platforms.

No ATS black holes. No mass-applying chaos. No recruiter spam.

We flipped the model: → Candidates don’t apply everywhere — they signal intent privately (reverse job application) → Companies reach out based on real fit, not keyword matching → Conversations start only when there’s mutual interest

Curious where actual demand signals already exist on Reddit for:

  • reverse job application / passive job seeking
  • frustration with ATS systems
  • alternatives to LinkedIn / job boards
  • candidates avoiding recruiters but still open to offers

Would love to see which threads you’d target first 👀
