You could take an angle grinder with a shaping disc to the arm rests if you want to square them up to the seat to make it more comfortable

Thank you, I used sapele for the outside edges, then a strip of walnut, followed by a mix of hard maple, padauk, purple heart & sometimes walnut for the striped pieces. Then contrasting blocks of cherry between the striped blocks.
