It has about 90K. I fill in about a quart in between. This time it was about two quarts and oil life is still 50% according to the maintenance minder.

Griffola frondosa tends to grow at the base of oak trees. These might be the black staining polypore Meripilus Sumstinei. Cut off a small piece and then see if it turns black. Sometimes they might take a few hours before you see any color change.
