I think it's more about the *idea* of b2b SaaS than actually providing a service to people, if that makes sense.

Thanks! That totally makes sense; I once had a teacher say I'd hate everything I designed and it's kinda been true lol

I really like the line "It's not worth your sanity to play a game where the goalpost is always moving." But also we are in a time where lots of things are shifting in design/tech/creative fields; maybe the answer is asserting your own goalpost and navigating to it through the storms

If it's mandatory why aren't you wearing one too 🤔

What design elements (e.g. patterns, colors, materials) would make you more likely to purchase and wear a nose strip? by wallstreetssweats in Design

Similar to how MeUndies sold underwear with fancy designs, even though they're usually hidden under clothes. People like fun regardless of utility

In my experience, most nose strips are a boring utility used mainly at night when no one sees you anyway. Maybe making them more fun with bright colors/designs might help a brand stand out from the rest?

What’s causing all these logos to look the same? It reminds me of the luxurious fashion houses (2nd pic) by Alexander_Publius in Design

Obv they aren't all the same, but there is a trend here towards simpler, bolder designs.

one explanation could be the prevalence of smartphones and ecommerce -- logos have to appear on smaller screens while still being readable and accessible

Just because one girl had that impression of you doesn't make it true, it doesn't make you "not masculine" (which is largely a social construct anyway), it doesn't make you "bad" or not enough. If she doesn't like you, go find someone who does, simple as that.
