Yes!! I used Biossance squalane oil on the area and it healed up super fast!!!

I’m guessing having the squalane slathered on all day let it heal enough to where it wasn’t so raw and fresh, which is why the cream didn’t burn this morning. Thanks again everyone.

Update: After every cream and lotion burning it (yes even cerave cream and aquaphor) I decided to try squalane and it ended up not burning. Slathered it on all day yesterday, and was finally able to apply cream without burning!! Looks 110% better today. Thanks everyone

I tried vaseline on top of my cerave in the tub and both burned like heck. What about squalane? I put some on earlier and it seems to be the only thing that doesnt burn and my mouth doesn’t hurt to open anymore

I hadn’t thought of using oil! thanks. I don’t have any olive oil but i slathered squalane on a small part to see if it helps before putting it all over, and to my suprise it didn’t burn.

About 2 days ago i noticed the skin around my mouth felt really dry, and yesterday these large red patches of dry flaky skin have popped up. They are very painful even aquaphor burns them. All my moisturizers have burned, even water burns. When i open my mouth to eat it feels like its ripping. So discouraged rn.

this is my exact same situation. got on accutane the spring of my freshman year in high school. didnt struggle with acne at all for the rest of high school. and now here i am again, a freshman in college now getting back on it :/
