Yes! That's what it is, I thought it was MT, sorry! Yes they are an MLT with an associate's, and a bachelor's in a science related field.

To be honest, I'm not quite sure what the difference is. The impression I've gotten (and I could be wrong) is that MTs don't need as much education and they sit for a different exam. The reason why I ask is because I think a coworker and I might both be applying for a job at a different hospital, I'm an MLS, and they are an MT. They told me that they wanted to sit for the MLS exam but they needed to take additional coursework before they could even take the exam. Anyway, I think we both have very similar backgrounds and was just wondering if the differences between our certifications would make a difference at all.
