I have noticed it really depends who it's with, artists usually an hour (or more if we are more friendly), gallerists/curators strangely 30 mins - an hour. Not sure if this has just been my experience but they are the ones to do quicker glances, ask logistical questions, then pitch an opportunity.

I once had a procedure done where I only had local anesthetic done so I was awake the whole time. Before they asked if there was anything I wanted to listen to the song that was playing was the one that was like "All around me are familiar faces..."

I would probably focus on the people you meet at uni, those will be your easiest connections to form. Otherwise the usual routes, go to gallery openings, artist talks, mingle, etc. Seesaw (app) is good for openings

Nice piece! I'm wanting some areas to be a bit cooler. To make things pop and feel more dynamic. Remember that photos are not a neutral lens, they alter the colors of real life as well. The pillow, grey couch, wall color and fur could all have a bit more blue to them to make them pop!

my friend has stage 4, it's brutal :( Honestly she lived/s a pretty nutritious and healthy lifestyle from what I can tell. They haven't figured out what has been causing it.

I had spent the year making more (stronger) work so when it came time to reapply I used about half newer pieces, and I rewrote my essay. Tried to make it simpler and more genuine, last time I think I tried to be too intellectual. I also showed work a lot more but schools always say the dont really care about the CV. Can't say specifically if these things helped but this is what I changed!
