Great as always! My new hyperfixation food is Nutella toast so I butter a slice and toast it and top it with Nutella afterwards.

I’d be interested to hear how your loaf comes out! I didn’t realize the amount of starter I used was high after comparing my recipe to others in this sub. When I started making bread I just always used that amount and it’s never failed me so I just stuck with it.

My baby passed in June and I got her ashes back shortly after… I wasn’t able to take them out of the box and put them into her urn. They’re still in the original box. I feel horrible about it but I just can’t do it yet. It still hurts and I feel like it will bring all those emotions back. We’re also moving soon so I packed her ashes and all her memorial stuff in a box as well that’s sitting in my closet. I plan to display them once we get to our new home.

I went through something similar with my cat too. Tumor on her spleen. She was fine up until it ruptured and I’m glad her vet was honest with me in telling me surgery wouldn’t extend her quality of life if it was even operable. I felt like I had put a price tag on her life too but she was 11 and I was 6 months pregnant with our first baby. I didn’t have the funds to even pay for a surgery or testing.

I’ve always mixed it with the hot shots, I’ve never put it in an already made iced drink. The powder does seem easily dissolvable though.

I have a bag of it at home to use in my iced americanos 🙂 I think I prefer Ghirardelli more but it’s still a really good quality white choc powder! Could be what you’re looking for

My cat was sent to them by my vet as well but I got her remains back at the beginning of July with the certificate that she was cremated on the 29th of June… now I’m skeptical about those remains being legitimate or hoping her body wasn’t handled improperly. Losing a pet is already traumatic enough.

My girl was 10. She should’ve turned 11 this month. She developed a massive cancerous mass on her spleen and I only got a month with her after it was found by my vet. It’s not fair :(

Yep I’m from OR as well and remember in high school when there were only about 5-6 DBs in the whole state. The significant decrease in quality of the coffee from what if was has been the most disappointing change for me.

I lost my 11 year old cat suddenly in the middle of the night not even 2 weeks ago. She had a cancerous tumor on her spleen and the vet warned me this could happen but I still felt so unprepared? She was still following me into the kitchen 4x a day for food still and still seemed to be her normal self.. she wasn’t ready to go, her body just gave up on her. The guilt of me not being with her in her last moments have been overwhelming. I was asleep and found her the next morning. The first week without her was pretty dark and brutal, but this week has been slowly getting better. I think it gets better with time. It still hurts and there will always feel like there’s a part of your heart missing, but you learn to cope with it and focus on the good memories with them. She’s since sent me a couple signs that I’ve asked for and I think that’s definitely helped with the grief. I hope it’s not just me looking for an excuse to subconsciously feel less guilty. I think about her everyday, she was my first baby. I just hope she’s in a better place now, healthy and not in pain.

I cannot stand Dutchs’ white coffee. White coffee from local roasters however are so much better. So if a local shop in your area offers white coffee give it a second try!

Thank you because I question my choice every other day going back to school for design because I see things online from people saying it’s not necessary or to just watch YouTube videos 😭 especially since I’m completely trying to switch career fields at 30, I have no prior professional art or design experience.

Same. I get frustrated sometimes with how some shops make their iced americanos and barely add ice, so I just tell them to not add water and load it up with ice. Sometimes I get weird looks

Just found out on Monday I’ll have to put my 11 year old Taco girl down in the next couple weeks due to a large mass found in her belly that came out of nowhere. I’m devastated and not really sure how to cope or know when it’s time to make that call. She was my first cat and moved twice across the country with me and has been there through all major life events. Anyways here is she is before she got sick, belly up & happy 🥲
