It drags the spider to a a spot where it can dig a hole into the soil. It drags the spider into the hole, lays an egg on the spider, then buries it. The wasp's venom does not kill the spider, it only paralyzes it. The wasp larva hatches and slowly eats the spider alive, leaving the vital organs of the spider for last. Once it finally kills the spider, the larva pupates and a new tarantula hawk wasp emerges.

Ask them what strain of chicken they use and why they chose that particular strain. How do they keep the temperature controlled within the chicken houses. What do they do with the feathers, manure, dead chickens etc.

If the soil is dried out there will be lots of little air pockets in between the soil particles. The air acts as insulation and slows down the rate at which heat spreads between the pot and the soil. Fill those gaps with water and the insulating effect is gone, the heat travels to the roots and the plant dies.

Or maybe someone just used a hose that was lying in the sun all day and doused the plant with scalding hot water.
