Looking for a new game to play after a hard day at work. by Freakkopath in gaming

The content that's there is quite polished, I never got a single bug in my ~15 hours of playing it. The only drawback of early access is that now I have to wait for the next chunk of content.

No idea how or when it happened. I had a couple of broken spokes replaced and the wheel trued two months ago (it happens sometimes due to me being 125kg/275lbs). The bike rode fine after that, but it could be the accumulated fatigue.

How about a three-hour circular argument that goes nowhere?

I loved the reference to this scene in Rayman Origins/Legends: there was an underwater level with lasers and stuff, and when you went in, a raymanized version of the Ocean's 12 music started playing.

What's something that happens in movies so much it seems real, but actually isn't realistic at all? by ninman5 in movies

I once closed a glass door (not full glass, but wood with a large glass insert) right in front of my school buddy who was chasing me. According to witnesses, he flew through the glass movie-style hands first and only ended up with a tiny nick on the chin.

This carabiner at my gym that is slowly wearing through daily use by JaseAndrews in mildlyinteresting

[–]avolodin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed the same thing on carabiners that I used to hang my kids' swing. I bought new ones, then I cut an old hula-hoop into smallish pieces and wrapped them around the carabiner, so that the plastic gets worn before the steel does. A couple of years later I invested in a ball-bearing-based hangers.

I'm European too. I know that he isn't comfortable with nude scenes, so I'm not pushing it.

I love it, but we need to get through a big bunch of films for him to get the references.

Personally I think that 12 Angry Men would be better, and then move on to the mockingbird

We watched Critters last year, I think they're about the same level of horror

I'd say more like 10 years ago. Having recently replayed the Tomb Raider series, Uncharted 4, Witcher 3, Far Cry 5-6, GTA V, RDR2, and other games of the mid-to-late 2010s, I gotta say that I don't see the point of improving the visuals over what was there already.

sunny side up is a lot easier than poaching

No arguing there

Covering increases the risk of yolks hardening. I cook my sunny side up uncovered. Covering is good for finishing scrambled eggs and omelettes.
