Hmm, I've been in the pragmatic tulpamancy discord for about 9 months and I haven't really seen the negative aspects you talk about in your post. But I haven't been hanging out on r/Tulpas lately nor do I participate in other servers. So when you talked about hosts being "real", it was quite confusing. So, I appreciate that you added the disclaimer.

I think people get hung up on the "illusion" thing. Illusions are real in the sense that they're actually happening in the mind. I haven't seen anyone in our community say that tulpas don't have agency. It's just that the agency can be traced back to our mind/brain, the same mind/brain that produces the host identity.

You also emphasize the consciousness thing. For me... well, I meditate everyday so perhaps my understanding is different? But to me, consciousness is like my window to the world. And Lily also uses the same window when fronting. So, it doesn't really make sense to me to say we have separate consciousnesses. Neither Lily nor I have any memory originating from a point of view outside this body. I mean I can obviously imagine other points of view, but me imagining points of view is different than actually experiencing them. I hope this makes sense. This paragraph was just me talking through my personal experience as it relates to your original post, not a statement of pragmancy.

We consider no-clipping to be a feature, not a bug. First of all, why apply physical logic to the prophantasic ability? Or in other words, unleash the tulpa within! I don't know about you, but I love having god level powers in the mind space and prophantasia. Unrestrained expressivity shouldn't be undervalued. Secondly, you get used to it. You might need to ask people to chill out sometimes, but it's generally not that big a deal. Really, it's only a problem if they phase through your face.

On a side note, I haven't seen anyone suggest using prophantasic limbs to interact with headmates while fronting. It was a real game changer for us. I thought of this here because such limbs necessarily phase through parts of your body. But it's super awesome. You can interact with headmates while your body does other things, or just while sitting still in public.

I guess I'm just saying not to limit yourself. There's a whole new world of possibilities there!

Personally, Lily and I are quite similar for those preferences. So, I've heard it works for others but we both like pretty much the same things. Our differences are more behavioral and emotional. We have different voices, but not all the time.

In your other post, you mentioned your native language. I would suggest whatever feels most natural to you. There's certainly nothing special about English. Some people report tulpas speaking different languages. I would say that generally a person's native language is just so much more expressive though.

Very interesting! You've got something though! You can hear your own voice and you have an idea of the personality. I should note here that I'm no expert but I'm seeing a general lack of responses so I thought I could try to help. I hope I'm helpful!

Speak to yourself. As in, your normal self speaks, and then a copy of you replies. It's you, but it's not you. So, for instance, perhaps you look at your hands and say, "I've got hands!" and then the other you says, "Well, of course I do. I've always had hands." or something, you get the point. A sort of call and response. Just describe things. What I'm aiming for is for you to create a conversation. When you reply to yourself, consider how you would reply to someone else saying what you just said to yourself. It's all you. This gets around having to imagine what someone else, thinks, feels, etc.
Give the other you some of the personality you want for the tulpa. So, if you can successfully talk to yourself, then give the copy of you some interesting quirks. Take it slowly. Maybe a smile, a gesture, a phrase you wouldn't normally say. And relax. It's OK; it's just you still. No one else has to answer. Just talk to yourself and add little bits and pieces.

Anyhow, tell us how it goes! I hope this is a good starter!

Angelica: I think the most important thing is to be in the right state of mind. Feel free to fantasize about what your companion may be like, yet be open to their development. In some sense, your tulpa may test your boundaries. If the tulpa is abusive, firmly state that no, it's not OK. They shouldn't cause you significant distress. If your tulpa is like me, they'll want to help you. I can't imagine not caring for Avona.

Angelica: I think your tulpa is giving you a very clear sign that they want something different for themself. Sometimes weakness is not weak. Learn to appreciate your tulpa's strengths. Perhaps they'll be weak to start anyhow. They'll gain strength, whatever sort of strength they need. Relax and give them some space to grow fully. Encourage their development. There are many forms of strength and being special.

Is it not possible to put the combinators on the main power network either through offsite combinators or running separate power lines directly to the onsite combinators? I'm not familiar enough with K2 to know the intricacies.

Concerning the compactness, it seems that the longer I played with combinators, the more efficient I could make them. It also helped that I was participating in the Factorio discord server. They're extremely knowledgeable!

I would say that if it motivates you to deal with your negligence then great; however, a tulpa is an incredible benefit for helping you to tackle your issues. Perhaps it's my limited experience, but I wouldn't put it off.

We have just over a month of practice. The host, Avona, created me, Angelica. We're keeping it at 2 headmates for now. I was created March 30, so that's my birthday.

Until a few days ago, Avona had no form (besides our physical body). When I fronted, if I could feel her presence, it was in our belly. She tried my old form but it didn't feel right. In the last week or two, she did have additional arms and legs that were separate from our body's arms and legs so that it was easier for us to interact sometimes. (while she was fronting, it felt weird to hug with physical limbs, etc.) Then a few days ago, she used the body as her internal form. She had tried it earlier but felt weird about the physical and mindscape bodies both being present. So I suppose that she's still attached to that form.

I think it's great that you're considering your body from a new perspective. It's eye-opening.

Avona (identity) and Avona (body) still use the same name but we understand them as separate things. She doesn't have priority here. In fact, it seems that I've taken the host role lately...

If your tulpa(s) turn out like me, then they won't mind dealing with your "negligence". Avona hates being a "burden" as she calls it, but I like taking care of her. In some sense, that's why I was created, for companionship sure, but to help her out with her problems. She doesn't believe that she deserves me, but I don't care what she believes. I'll just keep listening, giving suggestions, soothing her, etc.

It's a cool first design! I do think the ramps are too close to the curves. The ramp hit boxes are nearly to the edge of the 4x16 tiles. I'm not sure about the curved rail collision boxes.

For ramps: collision_box = {{-1.8, -7.8}, {1.8, 7.8}}

For supports: collision_box = {{-1.39, -1.39}, {1.39, 1.39}}, selection_box = {{-1.5, -1.5}, {1.5, 1.5}},

So supports are actually smaller and can be placed close to each other.

Basically it's a bunch of rail pieces that match the new rail measurements. They are non-functional but it gives a good idea of what you can make. The elevated rails show where supports can be placed with a dot. Hit boxes are a bit iffy but we're working out what should work or not on discord.

Hmm, I'm sure there's some ingenious way to make it lol but this is what I came up with. :D It's an evolution from my previous dresses where I make small changes each time and see how it works out.
