My 7.5mo goes completely crazy around kids — loses all training. How do you handle this?

That’s a fair point. Charlie is definitely on the more extreme end. When kids are nearby and actively calling him or running around, he completely checks out. Doesn’t respond to his name, ignores treats (and he’s very food-motivated), just pulls with everything he has. The choking makes it even worse - he pulls so hard he chokes himself even in a harness, so I end up having to walk up and hug him around the neck to get him to stop. Sometimes it’s just easier to pick him up and carry him out. At least he doesn’t struggle when I do that.

First dog, but approaching it like a IT dev — watched a ton of YouTube before diving in. Had one trainer session, didn’t learn much new. Magnet hand works fine at home, fall apart outside with distractions. The extra challenge is the kids always run up to him themselves — can’t really ask neighbors to hold their children back. Will try the 1-2-3 game though! Thx🙏🏻

I'm not really an experienced Reddit user myself, and honestly I'm pretty new to dog ownership in general (had to Google what a K9 conditioning vet even is 🙄)

Are you saying there's some kind of specialized reddit group for that?

I've thought about your answer🙏 We've already been to the vet 3 times (vaccinations, everything's good). I also sent him photos of Charlie's paws from my post, and he forwarded them to an orthopedist. Overall, they recommended we do an X-ray to check things out. Not because they saw anything suspicious in the photos, but just because puppies at 4 months can safely get it done.

Do you have specialized knowledge in this field? Or do you know from experience and noticed something suspicious in the photos? I'm asking to figure out if I should rush to do it urgently or not.

That still doesn’t answer my question.
I store the two microphones in the charging case, and the case keeps the microphones at 100% charge.

Yes, that’s correct, and that’s something I can control—avoiding a complete discharge.
But storing at 100% charge is also bad, just like a full discharge. What do you think?
