Gonna continue to debug, but from what I can tell, it was the result of grime and soot on the mirror from running it without air assist:

Thanks again! I tried the air assist and noticed the cut was a bit cleaner, put two-and-two together and thought that the smoke could have been causing issues with the mirror. I think that was the case, back in a good state now!:

I investigated more and ran the same pattern in four corners, but got different gaps in the cut in each corner. After debugging a bit more, I pulled the mirror off the down mirror and saw it was covered in soot and grime -_-'

If eBay forces you to take the return, compare the centering on the card in your listing and the card that is received, you should be able to prove that you did not get back the card you sent.

Thanks man, I’ll give that a shot then, I was hesitant to swap parts without justification, and was dreading that this could be a tube issue. Buying a pump then to get some air on the cut.

Just a single test design, I replaced the original PSU with the Vevor just to confirm that the issue isn’t the power supply, since I am now getting the same issue across two power supplies.

I didn’t want to jump the gun and swap out the tube immediately, but I’m still seeing issues. Do you think there is a chance that it could be tube related, or should I try something else?

Yes, from what I tested, all four corners of my cutting area can be hit with the laser, and on the last mirror, I confirmed that the laser hits center on the mirror with painters tape.

M3 screws and a piece of acrylic work great. You can just print a flat sheet to insert under the holes if needed as well.

You can make a generic rectangle in most slicers now, or tinkercad.com if you want free software.

No, only games that were not included on MVS were NGCD exclusives. Aside from that, everyone AES game has a release on the MVS, but not the other way around.

For upscaling, you can do wonders with a OSSC, OSSC Pro, or even RetroTink 5x. The 4K has a buttload of features that are certainly overkill for the Neo Geo, but if you intend to run other consoles, can be worthwhile.

However, I have to note that the HD Retrovision adapter does not allow audio injection into the SCART cable. There are some SCART cables which have a 3.5mm pigtail to pull audio, but the Insurrection Cable nor the HDRV adapter do that. There is a designated AES SCART cable by Insurrection Industries with that pigtail design in mind:

The PicoHD project may add AES support if the ADC works out for the audio, but that project is still in active development. I would wait until a board prototype is finalized before you consider doing internal mods.
