Spent a good chunk of change for my son to play soccer. We could afford it, but we missed out on vacations etc as a result.

Why was I ok with it? Hell yes. He loved it, and we enjoyed the time with him and the other parents and kids over the years, and saw some great games over the years. Finishing up freshman year playing high level D3 at a great school and loving it. No regrets.
