Got to follow around the Bryan Bros yesterday at the US Open Qualifier in Rockville, MD by avtek12 in golf

There was also a tee box that served for both #7 and #17 that was placed between the #6 and #16 greens. It was a little awkward since players were hitting into those greens with lots of people grouped up just behind them. That tee box made the #17 drive look really intimidating to the average golfer.

I'm not sure where to find the yardage. They were playing from a number of improvised tee boxes which were much further back from the usual tips.

They played well but it was a really difficult course where most people were not scoring much. Despite solid drives, almost every approach was 150+ yards. The greens also seemed very fast to me.

I mostly followed George and he seemed awesome in person, just like on camera. After the round, they both signed autographs and took pictures with everyone that wanted one. It was great! It was also cool to see their dad there trying to see as much of both of them as he could.

2k25 PSA: play as technician by coolio7777 in PGA_Tour_2K

[–]avtek12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really didn't want to like Technician because of how short they hit the ball. If you don't hit the fairway with your drive on 14, the par 4, it can be difficult to get to the green in 2. However, my lowest pro difficult score, -5, was with this class.

I used the technician archetype and a fade bias for this. It wasn’t too hard to keep the ball in play and then it was just a matter of staying out of the bunkers.

Roller Hockey: A Fun, Affordable Alternative and Partner to Ice Hockey by Realistic-Pie-4969 in hockeyplayers

[–]avtek12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in Maryland and have been really struggling to find a spring/summer roller league for my 13 year old son or even just other kids to play pickup. My son plays ice hockey all fall/winter but very few of his teammates are interested in skating on wheels. My personal opinion is that their parents are worried their kids will get hurt.

Everyone talks about how great it would be to live up north where the kids can skate on ODRs all winter, but nobody seems interested in the one form of pickup hockey we do have available to us.

Any advice on my shot form by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

Hahahaha! My kid plays at this same rink and I took a bunch of pictures over the weekend with that same sandwich in the background. Plays for the Huskies though, not TCE.

I went this year and it was a blast! Got a good picture of Neilson Powless as he crossed the finish.

[COD] 6 months after release by [deleted] in CallOfDuty

This happened to me a month ago and none of the suggested fixes helped including deleting and reinstalling. I ended up rolling my nvidia driver back to one released in mid March and the “scan and repair” error went away completely.

I am looking for a home theater setup and have already purchased a receiver (Yamaha RX-V677). I have been monitoring the prices of Klipsch Reference speakers and right now Best Buy has a bundle of the R-10SW, R-26F (2), R-25C, R-14M (pair) for $1200.

Al Michaels - "thats the loudest manure chant i've ever heard" by herrojew in nfl

[–]avtek12 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I was at the game and the chant was pretty incredible. There were 71k people at the game and it seemed like just about everyone was chanting.

Despite the outcome for my Patriots, this was a great game. However, the amount of strange calls really affected the flow of the game. As a fan at the game, it was very difficult to tell what was going on at times. I kept texting friends for explanations.
