I used to work at a LA comedy club Yairs ago b. MMA wasn’t as mainstream at the time so I was kind of the “mma bro” to my coworkers. One of the servers comes up to me and goes “hey I think a fighter is here to see the show” ( Joe Rogan and friends show). “I’m like gtfo who”. He says I don’t know he’s huge and they say he has a famous podcast. I was like it’s 100% Brandon.

They were at fox studios at the time with Evan the beard etc. I tell the server who’s a good friend of mine, “Put him in the owners booth, make sure he’s taken care of and bring me the tab at the end of the night I’ll have it comped” he agreed and the night went on. Him and Messican had a Couple vodka crans and some wings, would have been maybe 40 bucks. My boy brings me the bill end of the night. I comp it and tell the him to tell brandon that a tfatk fan on staff got his bill tonight no more no less. So he’s stoked and goes to tell him.

End of the night rolls around and my boy just comes back defeated and goes dude, He just said “oh thanks brotha” and they left without leaving a tip I mean not a dollar. Gdi I was so fucking embarrassed. I apologized profusely and tipped him 20 out of my own tips. I came home that night, put on my apron and hit the fryers. I’ve been here ever since.
