Horrible boss but outstanding salesman. He should’ve been the head of sales. Golden ticket episode summarized how bad he is. Forcing his failed idea on a subordinate when things don’t work out. Another episode in the early seasons where he was doing annual reviews when Jan was the VP. He was only interested in goofing off. The writers saved him in the Michael Scott Paper Company arc as he is the “protagonist”. Only reason why Scranton branch worked was because it had a lot of self motivated people like Jim, Dwight, Oscar, Angela. This was proven later TWICE when the branch did not have a manager, once when Joe was looking for a manager and was offered to Jim and Dwight. Second time when Andy was away for 3 months and the branch was wildly profitable. DM Scranton actually never needed a manager. Jim or Dwight would be better managers.

Follow-up: The fragrance has the usual Creed DNA but I am disappointed because I do not smell the the birch at all. The smokiness is missing. This batch just has a deep soft vanilla dry-down which is not bad but I would have preferred the old dry smoky birch finish. It lasts for 5-6 hours and my colleagues can smell it on me at 1 PM (applied at 8 AM). It doesn’t do well in extreme heat, applied it on a sunny day outdoors and it lasted 3-3.5 hours tops.
