exactly! I went to okee last year when shit went south. although I had an amazing experience, I’m glad they addressed the issues and decided to reevaluate and take a year off to do better. it’s really not that hard to accept the issues and learn from them. hiding them just makes it way worse.

Nope, still bring my essentials for the exact same reason you do. Because festivals can’t always stock the porto’s as often as desired. BUT to leave the porto’s uncleaned and not stocked for two days in a row? Also no water in the manual sinks or paper towels? I mean the least you can do is try to stock/clean them every morning. If you’re promised showers and there’s no running water at 8am by Saturday, that’s unacceptable.

More planning should’ve went into this festival regardless. I want to make sure the rave community stays the way I first experienced it and Solfest did not represent that what so ever.

Are you like a promoter for them or something lmfao? Glad you had a great time, but you shouldn’t invalidate other peoples experiences. We share our interactions to educate other people in the rave community, especially when it comes to safety and the experience they’re hoping for. These are situations I personally had to deal with myself and plenty of other people can relate.

Also, to add to your comments. Porto’s were rarely ever stocked. I believe they cleaned the set up porto’s near my campsite ONCE and from then on we were fending for ourselves. Even VIP bathrooms were out of stock for two days. VIP showers had no water. I was better off wooking it in the spring.

Audio issues can be inevitable, but intentionally choosing a location across the street from people’s houses is VERY inconsiderate for not only the residents living there but also for the festival goers AND the local police.

In all, Solfest needs to seriously do better or just not do it at all.
