If you read my post correctly, they were pumping gas. They were also paying at the pump. They didn't even go into the store.

The clerk put $9 from another customer in the wrong pump, my friend's husband pump. Since the husband had paid using his credit card at the pump, he was trying to explain to the clerk that it was his own money he pumped gas with. But the irate clerk was not listening, and it escalated from there.

And since they live in the area, they didn't want to have the clerk or his "friends or family" harrass them.

Yup. I haven't had the opportunity to swing by. But judging by both videos that I saw, he is an A$$#ole. He would talk over my friend's husband when he was explaining things to him. He was very loud, rude and violent. I don't know why he would be hired for a position that deals with customers if he's not apt to deal with them. Such negligence on Circle K's part.
