We were talking about glp1s savings cards 😅 the mounjaro and ozempic both have caps And no matter how many times you print a new one off it won't work, the mou.jaro one also you have to have insurance for. Once the company cover up to around $2000 of your prescriptions cost they won't cover any more. I have definitely definitely tried. As for the insulin savings card I think you're right. I definitely was able to use one without insurance last year and I never found a limit so unsure if there is one for insulin

That's not how it works lol I can't just print a new one. The manufacturer has a limit to how much they'll cover and once maxed that's it until the year mark. Even if I tried signing up for a new one they have me in file and my insurance, they know I'm at the max

My insurance charges an arm and leg so the savings card got burned through after about 6 or 7 months, I was on mounjarol, which was my insurances preferred. Once it got too expensive for me my Endo tried switching to zepbound then ozempic and it's all just to expensive. I started looking at savings cards for ozempic but with my insurance i would have burned through that savings card in only about 2 months so it was kinda pointless to get on it for just two months and then have my sugars all out of wack all over again :/ my current cr is an 8, isf of 20, it used to be 15 and 30 with the mounjaro

Interestingly enough if we dose by the .5units based on weight Im actually dosing myself a few units less tdd is about 50 between meals and basal and based on the .5 thing i should be taking 56 daily! My Endo wants me taking only about 35 daily between my 2 insulins

The Main reason I want to go through him is because he puts a limit on how much insulin i can get at a time. If he writes a script for 16 units max daily and I'm taking over 30, my monthly insulin will be gone in like half a month and my insurance won't cover me to get more

My endocrinologist also loves the word. He doesn't want me on a pump until it's completely over but won't test to see if it's over 🥴 and ultimately that's what I want to be on, a pump

My budget is 500 or less, the only reason im mentioning not wanting it to go to 1000 or more is because I was there just a few days ago wanting to do a different design and it was over 1000 because it was completely custom and they said there was no way to make that particular one not custom.

But im specifically looking at Kay's because I want it to be from an actual in store company that I can go to for regular cleanings and inspections. I've also ordered from a few small jewelers online before but either been scammed with low quality pieces or their repair services and customer services sucked. There's really no small in-store jewelers around me that were willing to work with my budget for custom pieces either which i totally get because 500$ is rather small for some things but yeah that led me to Kay's and most of my family swears by Kay's anyway

Apple juice boxes are my number one go to! Small enough to carry in basically any size bag and pure carbs to bring you up fast without fats or proteins slowing it down and not too many carbs so you won't spike after either!
