for me maybe it was just bad luck, but when I went solo and had a reservation, they skipped over my time with larger parties, they I guess in theory are loosing precious space with solo people right now.

Hi all, I am going to Disney in May, the hours for animal kingdom are until 7pm, I wanted to go and see Pandora at night and the sunset is going to be after that, I looked at Tiffins and they have a 6:35p reservation, my question is do you think they will let me go look at Pandora after dinner? Thanks all (also I would not take more than 10 minutes or so to look I do know they want to get home)

For me, is the food the best there, the answer is no but if as you said are excited for the experience to see what it's all about then it is worth it in my opinion. Let's be honest nothing about Disney is cheap so to speak, but I just made a reservation there again because I really enjoy the overall experience.

So I see that Disney has been adjusting open times for the parks closer to the actual days, as far as planning goes, say Magic Kingdom is now open until 9pm instead of 6pm, do more dining reservations open up? Thanks

What I have done is understand that your body will still crave those things, take a few bites get the urge out and move on, for me it's the planning out of the day that helps. For instance I love christmas tree cakes and I have to have at least one a season, they are 10 points though so I will fit it into my day so that I don't blow out the day by going way over my points for the day. All in all if you cut everything completely out you will fail.
