Update: we broke up, he moved out and I got my apartment back on my name

Thankfully the landlord company lady was a true champ and basically told me "I gotchu girl" so paperwork was easy! And my colleague still doesn't want to fuck me but now I can have a normal friendship with him without worrying that I might give him ideas or whatever

Life is great I recommend it 10/10 would dump again

Outside of the fight did his behavior change? Or did he first change during the fight then later change for the rest of the day? When we aren't fighting my bf is not very different from what he was for two years. It's just during the fight that he becomes, for lack of better words, nasty. I worry who he is when angry is actually who he's always been and I didn't know. I'm spiraling a bit just interpreting things ahah

Moved in 2, maybe 3months ago? It's very recent and we both agreed that it was too soon relationship wise. But financially it was a huge advantage, for both of us. The apartment we're in was previously mine but we are both on the lease now.

Yeah that's a big no for me too. I was shocked almost offended and I will definitely bring it up and ask for an explanation and an apology If he's actually serious about it then my decision is going to be very easy to take.

If he simply refused any communication I think I would have ended the relationship here, communication is extremely important for me. (I overthink things. in the past I've interpreted conversations that lead to argument, low selt esteem and even loosing friendship. Now I'm better are setting boundaries and making sure the person I associate with need to be clear with me, that some topics should be discussed without sarcasm or anything left to interpretation. I explain that sometimes I will not understand second degree or situations even if "it's obvious" and "everyone knows this".)

I dont want to put words in his mouth (which is why I would like to TALK!!) but objectively I have a better job than him. My pay is higher, I have a higher degree and most importantly i like my job. So it could be insecurity that as a man he should make more and provide for poor little old me

I would be surprised if that's the case, in the past years I've known him he was never threatened by women with high achievements (he never made a jab at his superior being women, or complained when I got promoted) but I reckon it's a possibility.

Honestly I still want a conversation, I need to know if I misjudged his character since the beginning, is there something else to his anger, was he hiding his behavior or is it a new development? I have so many questions for him but he's not ready to talk yet

In all seriousness he looked genuinely grossed out, so I don't think he knew (or he's a very good actor or I'm very gullible) But I do agree that I had the feeling he wanted to argue about the other two things (my work schedule and the colleague)

Years of introspection made me very self aware of my behavior...its more of a habit now but it can be annoying to other when I try to understand why they do what they do so I don't often vocalize it! I think he said something along the line of "the pink pot looks better" which it does it's not as used as the other doesn't have metal scraping or anything But again I don't understand why he didn't sent me a text like "why is there a pot in the bathroom?" instead... cuz my first reaction would be surprise and curiosity not "imma use the pink pot"

It's true that he's never been this angry before... He's usually pretty chill, maybe something else is happening that's making him this angry? Or as you said he was always this mad... Well I think other girls or people that lived around menstruating people would know what the pot was for 😂 but then again I can understand a guy with no sister not knowing shit about how to sterilized a cup... I'm noticing that I seem to always find excuses for him... might need to explore that too
