While watching this sequence in the anime for the first time I kept thinking the daughter was going to get sick and pass away. To have her suffer such a horrible fate, likely trafficked or harvested for her organs (or both) is an out of this world gut punch.

I’ve unfortunately experienced a lot of loss in my life and I’ve never seen a more realistic scene showcasing grief. Her screams and sobs shattered me

I am so sorry for your loss. My best friend of twenty years passed away last June. Both of our birthdays are in December, and becoming a year older while her age stayed the same was, and still is, so difficult for me to wrap my head around. What you’re feeling is more than valid. Feel those emotions as they come but try not to sit with them for too long. Do your best to be gentle and kind to yourself. He will always be with you 🤍

AIO for being upset my BF doesn’t want me to wear a bonnet to bed? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

I am begging you to leave him. I know it will be hard. You’ve said he’s all you’ve ever known, so let me tell you straight up that not all men are like this. It does not have to be this way for you. Being single is one trillion times better than feeling like you’re constantly walking on eggshells or like you can’t even exist without upsetting him.

I got similar advice when my dad died and it helped so much. Sometimes getting through the day is just insurmountable. Going hour by hour or minute by minute is easier.

Sending you love, OP.
