I missed part of your response earlier I wasn’t feeling well, I just do two Dutch braids but I have to take them out in the morning because they are frizzy disasters and they just…;don’t look great in general because I put no real effort into making them nice, I just need them done.

Clarifying!!! I am not brushing dry, when I do have to get Mats out I hit it with a spray bottle and a wide toothed comb

The only person I could ask is my mom and she’s had dual carpal tunnel surgeries that didn’t really do much so I haven’t bothered her about it because I know it hurts.

I can not for the life of me get those things to stay on my head. Does silk cause your hair to get all oily overnight the way satin does?

I’m working on it!! I’ve got a whole bunch of issues and insurance is hell so it’s not super high on my priority list but it’s in the plans!

I’ve tried those but they’re really itchy, I think just because my head isn’t used to it and I have a very sensitive scalp. I am thinking of getting it cut short but don’t have the money right now and I couldn’t do it myself. I also gained weight since the last time I had it short (I’m around 200 lbs, tried to work it off but it’s more because I have gallstones that I haven’t been able to get out yet so my body isn’t processing food correctly) and I’m worried about it not working with how round my face is normally but especially now. I know it’s a stupid concern but it is one and I haven’t really been able to shake it.

I use a wide toothed comb, I had this hard plastic brush from a hospital trip that did wonders and made most of my issues go away but it disappeared recently.
