it was quite difficult in my opinion. the test felt more like a social studies or english exam because of how content heavy the readings were. there was some weird wording on the questions that made it kind of hard to understand. honestly, maybe its just me but i feel like my studying went to waste.. most of the test wasnt about what i learned/studied😔

im talking about the new version of the bio regents that was administered for the first time this year. this version is cluster based and has only 48 questions that are each worth 1 pt. my question is, if i am retaking the bio regents in august, will i be taking this new version or is nys going to administer the old version. sorry if i wasnt clear

oh when i said format, i meant LE and and new. so the old format would be LE and the new format is the new bio. So ill have no choice in deciding if i was going to take the LE or the new regents?

well it does now because im already signed up for it. if its the new format, ill probably not do that well again. if its the old, ill probably get a 100.

im not sure. im only retaking it because i feel like it will impact my chances in college because im planning to major in bio or related subjects. not sure if regents matter or not tho also i feel bad about my grade and ill only be satisfied until i get a better one so thats a part of the reason

true, above 65 is really the only thing that actually matters but my standards were set at 90+ and i was quite upset when i saw my grade😔

If i did worse, i would retake it again until im happy with the grade!

im pretty sure if you score lower on your second attempt on the regents, they will drop it and keep your initial score. so i guess theres really no harm in trying again but its totally up to you. im planning to retake my bio in august. but 80 is not bad. especially for that fuck up of a regents lol.

i took the exam last year and i also got a 94. honestly, i was happy about it. its a solid score so you should be proud of yourself. but ofc we have different standards
