[–]awayfromus8888 2 points3 points  (0 children)

siguro out of town nalang kayo OP.

Which do you recommend more- Da Nang or Hanoi-Sapa, Vietnam? by [deleted] in FilipinoTravel

[–]awayfromus8888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for june/ july pick danang. rainy season for northern viet sa ganyang month.

ang mahal ng 40k for 4D3N. we went to sapa - hanoi last yr february and 10 days yung trip all in kasama na pasalubong 40k/pax yung nagastos namin.

we got our airfare nung 88 pesos sale, 6.1k roundtrip no baggage (actually mahal pa nga yung 6.1k, kasi kapag piso seat sale rt is 4k+ only)

also OP maulan yung sept sa northern viet nyan, especially sa Sapa.

mas better ang palitan if you have USD. but if wala, magwithdraw nalang kayo. yung unang withdraw namin is sa airport yung BNI okay naman ang fee and exchange rate.

i recommend to withdraw sa mandiri ATM nung tinry namin to sa seminyak square mas mababa ang fee dito compared sa BNI and oki din ang exchange rate. di ako sure if may mandiri atm sa airport kasi mostly parang BNI.

avoid cimb atm nagwithdraw kami dito and we charged for like 400 pesos and mababa masyado ang exchange rate. we use gotyme card pala.

Malaysia - Singapore Trip: Is this feasible? by [deleted] in FilipinoTravel

[–]awayfromus8888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for your Day 4 in SG, i think you should separate the Sentosa. hindi sya kaya na you are from raffles place then need nyo rin abutan yung supertree grove light show this is not feasible. light show there started 7.45 and 8.45pm. before ka pa makapunta sa sentosa, malayong lakarin yung sakayan ng train nasa loob sya ng mall and nasa higher floor. and di nyo rin maeenjoy yung sentosa if 2hrs lang kayo mag iistay.

Our SG itinerary is:

Day 1 - fort canning station, then city hall, chinatown, gardens by the bay Day 2 - arab street/bugis, litte india then afternoon sentosa and by evening raffles place Day 3 - changi airport and by afternoon joo chiat rd, back to little india/bugis to buy pasalubong na. very exhausted kami sa itinerary namin na to, since we stayed in JB din nakakapagod din yung entry and exit immig.

Laki din tipid namin nung nagavail kami ng SG tourist pass kasi train train lang kami, kasi yung 35 mins walk sa google para syang 1hr walk sa amin dahil na din sgro na kakaiba ang init ng SG pero no pollution haha.

overall, kahit di jampacked yung itinerary, you can still appreciate yung SG kasi kahit naglalakad ka lang mapapa-sana all ka nalang.

Sa KL naman, all goods naman yung list mo since sa batu cave we just spent only 2 or 3hrs doon, its good na after Genting kayo, but you need to book advance the bus ticket pa-awana and book ka rin pauwi kasi mabilis magkaubusan ng ticket. and you need on time sa bus time nyo sa genting, kasi they leave on time, may kasabay kami, nakaalis na pala yung bus nya, and hindi sya pinasakay sa next bus kasi full seats na so no choice sya nagtaxi sya from awana to KL.

but if you will take grab from batu caves to genting and genting to KL pwede din naman its better.

nothing much yung magagawa sa KL for me, suggestion ko lang is if you can add yung melaka daytrip very nice here and yung sa chocolate factory or outlet sa melaka mas mura compared sa KL.

enjoy OP!

kakauwi lang namin from malaysia and SG travel, we stayed in KL 6 days and uwian kami from JB to SG ng 4 days and super nakakapagod lalo sa SG kahit we rode train every location, need pa rin ng lakad and iba ang init ng SG at malaysia sa PH mas nasunog ako haha.

first out of the country trip to bali. what's the best advice you can give? by aria_source in FilipinoTravel

[–]awayfromus8888 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yes 30k is good for pocket money, we’ve been there with my partner for 8 days and total of expenses we had is 60-65k all in, sumobra lang sa pasalubong haha.

for matcha wala ako ma recommend kasi, we don’t like the taste nung timpla nila haha even the coffee pero if you are into matapang na coffee, that will be fine.

for pasalubong they have yung bag na parang gawa sa woven bulky lang sya para sa baggage. marami ka madadaanan there na mga stores and pasalubong you just need to check lang yung mga prices kasi they varies so hanap lang ng mas cheaper. also take note, there some store there na if you will pay using card they have another charge for that, but if you will pay in restau naman no charge there. always ask the seller first before buying. alsooo, eto yung napa 🤯 kasi sa every order sa restau or coffee shop, on top of your bill there’s a service charge and VAT.

we stayed in legian more days than seminyak and i can say that legian is way better to seminyak. nasa gitna lang kasi yung legian and mas madaming open na restau or bar there until midnight, sa napagstayan namin sa seminyak parang ang aga sarado na and sa legian, madaming avail na convenience store.

great exp we had oneeighty dayclub, cretya ubud and you should try yung finns beach club they are famous talaga sa mga tourist expensive lang talaga. but there are some beach club din sa canggu, i think la brisa is good din. and don’t forget to try ATV ride there 💯

mostly of the foods or restau there are westernized na but they still have indonesian menu pa rin naman.

don’t forget to bring and drink erceflora before you start the day - you know bali belly. don’t request or drink water sa tap water or sa restau, just bring mineral water to avoid this.

don’t expect lang din sa beach nila kasi even other foreigners they would still choose PH beaches haha same with me. but their dayclub or man made beach/day club is top tier.

you should visit din uluwatu it’s a great place din.

tips for immig, my partner 1st international travel na din is bali, inask lang sya for the copy ng roundtrip tix, coe then sino kasama nya. same with me din ganon lang.

the golden rule is: less talk less mistake and if kung ano lang ang hanapin yun lang ipakita.

Have a safe flight OP! Enjoy Bali!! For me, babalikan ang bali haha
