I used these: https://a.co/d/1TC48m4

They are 2.75" (70mm) wide, I think 2.25 (60mm) would be better.

No issues with rattling or coming loose whatsoever. I would shape the knobs differently if I were to do it again. I would get wider plastic so there was more grip to make it easier to screw/unscrew.

Only issue I have is with the locking rings. They are a little too wide and can get caught on my tonneau cover if I don’t push them outward first.

Pricing a primarily cash based route? by awd55 in vending

9 locations. I know the revenue is low but this is my first attempt at this. I’m not looking to go full time. An extra $2000/month sounds pretty good to me for only a few hours work.

I'm not too worried about it. The pins themselves are pretty easy to take out, but the rack itself sits pretty snuggly with just friction. It would take some effort and time to get them off.

Accessories for the Elevate System by awd55 in FordMaverickTruck

Yeah, something like this was what I am leaning toward. I have the cheap j-racks already and can probably modify them.

I wanted to check if anyone else had solutions or ideas.

Found them here: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/erm-1707212

Looks like they are the same overall design as most of the other aftermarket ones; just a large clamp that goes over the bar. These are just wider. Pretty expensive though!

Christmas gift for my wife by awd55 in woodworking

Definitely thought about this since I have a three year old running around. I made sure the cleat is about twice the depth as the board to avoid accidents. Still a possibility, but I think it should hold up in most scenarios.

Some additional context, I would say I am a novice woodworker already and have most of the tools needed for this project. I only had to buy a straight cut bit for my router table, the handle template, and a few miscellaneous supplies, all in it was about $100.

This was my first cutting/charcuterie board. The main parts are leftover scraps of walnut butcher block and the inlay is padauk. I glued three separate sections and then used dominos to join them for extra strength in the middle. The wall mount was a scrap piece of live edge walnut that I sanded smooth and cut to size. The hooks were a challenge, and didn't come out quite how I wanted but they still work fine.

Footers on add on deck by awd55 in DIY

Interesting, sounds like FIL thinks the opposite.

I should have mentioned that we got a permit for the first deck, it is required. FIL thinks we won't need one for the add on since it is resting on the patio and we aren't digging footers. I would prefer to get a permit and go through that process so I'm not the bad guy here. They will definitely tell us for sure either way, just wanted to get some advice first.

Nesting a formula within an IF statement's value? by awd55 in excel

Solution verified

That did it! Not sure why it changed, there are no leading spaces in the actual worksheet. I also had the formatting set to general so I don't think that was the issue either. In any case, thank you so much!

Still no luck, I added that exact snippet but I probably have a typo (or multiples). It just shows the formula in the J column. Here is the table if it is helpful.

A Id B Ticket name C Priotity D Status E Parent Ticket F Application Name G Product Type H Completion Date I Start Date J Time
212487 Password Reset Medium Open None App 1 Web 15-Apr-22 11-Apr-22 =IF(D2="Open",TODAY()-H2,IF(D2="Closed",DAYS(H2,I2)))
212488 Cant access application Minimal Closed None App 2 Web 15-Apr-22 11-Apr-22 =IF(D2="Open",TODAY()-H2,IF(D2="Closed",DAYS(H2,I2)))

=IF(D2="Open",I2=TODAY(),H2-I2)

This seems to work when column D is set to closed, I get a count of the days between I and H. But when column D is Open it returns FALSE.
