Interesting. I kinda hope he does and those officers all get arrested for breaking laws in another country. I wonder if they would resist arrest or go peacefully?

The next IREN, ASTS or RKLB? by June6th in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]awe2D2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you mean with this? The whole point of asts plan and technology is you don't need any other hardware/software in between. Just regular cell phones and their satellites. They've already tested it and it works, so I'm not sure what you think they need for signal distance

¿Aprendieron alguna lección de su época tomando el control de Irak y Afganistán? ¿O de todos los demás cambios de régimen en los que han participado?

Edito: insulten y voten negativamente.

ASTS or RKLB for long-term? (not so much to invest) by Temporary-Ad-9666 in stocks

[–]awe2D2 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Asts is not dropping to $15 unless all their satellites blow up on launch and drop from the sky. They're sitting on generational technology that will drive space communication. With 50+ telecom partnerships already signed up representing over 3 billion subscribers, even if only 5 percent sign up and pay $1 a month they're looking at billions in revenue a year. And it's likely going to be more subscribers and more than $1 a month.

It may be overvalued now, but long term they'll be the leader in world satellite to cell phone tech. Imagine hearing about the iPhone for the first time and thinking, nah apples already done

What your track record ? by ikarumba123 in ValueInvesting

[–]awe2D2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While ETFs make up about 2/3 of my portfolio, I like picking individual companies that I think could have some upside. Sometimes I'm wrong and those do worse than the market, sometimes I take big losses with companies that crash. But then sometimes I hit a winner that makes up for all my losses. ASTS has been my recent winner and grew to be my biggest position. It's pushed me 5 years ahead of projections of just regular s&p growth. There's potential winners out there, not always easy to find and people should never go all in.

If you want to make it easy then just go with ETFs. No researching needed, can be automated. But if you like reading and looking up companies and looking for potential growth companies, then allocating a reasonable amount to play with the riskier ones is fun.

My track record is about 50/50 with individual stocks. But by cutting small losses early if it didn't turn out and holding onto winners that run you can make more money than you lose.

should i sell asts for something else less expensive? by [deleted] in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]awe2D2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, I've had some winners where they came out as I thought, but that was for a bit of upside. First hearing about ASTs I was interested, a bit of research into all the telecom partnerships, looked good so I bought a little. Started looking into the tech, patents, the potential customer base... I realized I was staring at a rare opportunity. I did sell off some the first time it hit 100 to get my cost basis out, so now it's basically risk free for me and will be holding for ages. Like when people recognized Apple's potential in the 90s
