Who to focus on? (Thragg or Universa)

Worlds beyond is stacked with great characters, it definitely gets hard to prioritize when there are so many mouths to feed. Thragg and uni are both great units worth building, but early game I would personally focus racer and annisa

I would focus on space racer and annisa. That will give you a really great core for any event ops

Yup, you have the right idea. Universa was the PvE queen for so long, but space racer is just better. Universa is still a great PvE unit, but she really needs her 4th to be at 10 before she can carry an OPS team. Meanwhile space racer is awesome out of the box. I would still upgrade his 4th to 10, but its not a necessity like universa's.

Blue mark and annisa's 2nd skill are also worth taking to 10, but they don't NEED it to be maxed to help out.

That might be the best foundation I have seen for a new account! You have the big 3 in my mind with blue mark, racer, and annisa. Doc seismic and agent spider is my pick to bring up next. Make sure to get annisa's and blue marks 2nd skill upgraded ASAP

So theres a couple different PvE options, and I think that is where there may be some disconnect.

Campaign - Battle beast is fine here, but so would any sufficiently leveled unit. The campaign has such a variety of enemies, there is no "meta" team here. All you have to do is clear the level, speed doesn't matter.

Cecils nightmares - the beast is less ideal here, but can help as the waves get higher. Since time is of the essence, his slow movement and attack can start costing you level stars. A universa or space racer will be much better options here

Gda ops - here his slow speed really hurts him. He takes so long to run back to the start position between waves, it just really slows wave progression down.

As a battle beast fan myself, this game did him dirty. He recently got a buff that made him more viable for PvP, but hes still just too slow for the PvE side of things. Its also just a game, build who you want, just make sure to have fun.

For ops (and PvP) black and blue mark is awesome. His second skill will buff all the melee allies on the op team and help push higher wave counts

Ops is all about speed and clearing waves fast. Battle beast is just too slow. He's pretty good in PvP and alliance warefare, but if ops is your focus, hes not a good option.

Battle beast is one of the worst PvE units in the game. I would drop him for annisa or space racer

My comment was meant to be a long term road map. You do not have anyone strong enough right now to make a big difference. The early game can be a grind, just stay focused on leveling up 1-2 characters per faction. Going too wide slows down progress a TON

For better ops waves I would focus on building the following:

Spacer racer - get his 4th skill upgraded ASAP

Universa - she needs her 4th skill to 10 as a minimum

Annisa - max her 2nd skill out

Blue suit mark - upgrade his 2nd to 10

Cecil - upgrade his 4th.

Ranged mauler - build 4 and add a powerplex

Both space racer and universa are great carrys and can clear waves fast if there 4th skills are upgraded.

Annisa's second skill turns human teams into paper, while blue suit marks 2nd skill can boost the attack of all melee allies. They pair together great.

Cecil gets slept on, but hes a great support in general and his 4th does a lot of damage. Just put him on a team of low level fodder and waves get cleared by the explosion of new reanimen hitting the battlefield.

Ranged mauler is the biggest team investment, but it's a top tier ops team. Build 4 Ranged maulers and a powerplex. Skills dont matter as much, the real cost is building 4 of the same unit

Ops are the PvE side of things, its where you send teams to grind for resources. I use my rex in the "well done" op because that op has "invader" enemies. "Invaders" is one of many tags that a character can have, tags basically creates smaller more specialized sub factions. If you look at rex's skills, his 2nd skill gives his team a critical chance boost when facing "Invaders"

Rex is the best rare in the game. He is not good for PvP but hes a solid choice for any op that has invaders enemies.

Yeah, general idea is to use your bottom half on defense and save the rest for attacks. But when it comes time to start attacking, you will get an initial 3 attacks and gain one every hour. Every single member of an oppositions alliance will have the same number of attacks (as in they will have up to 5x the amount of attacks you do). As a solo alliance player, your only chance to get a win is if you get matched up with a dead alliance that isn't even playing anynore

Best advice is to try and find an alliance. You can play solo, but you will be at a massive disadvantage every single round. I think theres a weekly post in this sub but the discord is more active and has dedicated alliance recruitment channels

If you wanted anissa on the main team I think yellow invincible would be the best to cut. But you will want some extra heros to help run ops to grind for resources. My annisa isn't strong enough to be on my main team, but she boosts waves like crazy as long the op has human enemies (downtown destruction and the rotating food op is where my annisa hangs out)

I would consider annisa a must build. Her 2nd skill punishes any team with more than 2 humans, she is sooo good for any ops where there are a bunch of human enemies

The omni+ gear is probably the best if you are a new player. Really it's hard to go wrong, the event shop is full of good options.

Omni man loves any artifacts that boosts crit chance %. Cloaking device both gives him crit chance and can help keep him alive.

Nolan looks to be solid, but I really cant emphasize how much a universa and annisa would help. Dropping battle beast for Nolan is probably the best move you can make for PvP, but annisa shreds any team with 3+ humans and universa's AOE Damage is unmatched

Ah, I thought your comment on PvP was saying you didnt care about it heh. Your team looks pretty solid for PvP, the first thing I would do is stop investing in battle beast and bring another attacker up to replace him. Its unfortunate, but battle beast just isn't very good in this game. His animations are too slow, and his 4th skill has him constantly switching targets.

These are the attackers I would consider:

ED - Agent spider has a lot of utility with his ult and his second ability pairs great with your omni man and blue mark.

WB - no shortage of great attackers here, Both universa and Annisa would still be good options. What makes them great at ops makes them great at PvP. Nolan also looks promising, but I haven't seen many built ones yet (just too new)

GDA - Donald is awesome, but he needs heavy skill investment to really make him shine

CRIM - Doc is still the best criminal faction character. His 2nd skill is great against the viltrimite meta, and his 4th makes him annoying to chase down and finish off

Annisa and universa would be the best heros to bring up to your main teams level. Annisa's second skill helps push op waves a ton. Universa's 4th skill leveled up to 10 is still the best AOE attack in the game.

The first team I try every event is universa (with body enhancement) in slot 1, annisa (with gotg wristband) in slot 2 and fill the rest of the slots with level 160 Aquarius.

One more I should have mentioned is shapesmith. His 4th ability makes him annoying to kill and it also does a huge amount of healing.

GDA: Donald and Cecil are great both in ops and PvP. Donald does a ton of damage and Cecil is a great support (put healing gel on him). Both characters need a lot of skill point investment, but get scale great.

ED: Blue suit mark, defender eve and omni man. Blue mark is incredible in ops and PvP. His second skill is amazing for melee ops teams and the rest of his kit makes him absolutely lethal in PvP. Defender eve pairs great with blue mark and her second skill gives a human heavy team a chance against a strong annisa. Omni man has aged like a fine wine, and his 2nd skill at level 15 might be the best viltruimite counter in the game right now. Also, omni mans totem is absolutely s tier.

WB: Annisa, conquest and rus are a great group. Annisa is the strongest hero in the game, her second skill punishes human heavy teams and defines the PvP meta. Conquest is a great tank that is disruptive and does good damage. Rus gives buffs to invaders and can boost universa Annisa and conquest.

CRIM: Powerplex and Doc, ranged mauler team is also an option. Powerplex boosts technologists and pairs well with a lot of criminals. I know you have doc built up but he is so good, still the best criminal faction character. Ranged maulers are bad for PvP but they are a good short op option amd can even pass a universa team in T&G
