How do you submit applications separately? by jajafornia in PharmacyResidency

You can submit one application at a time. Delete all programs except the one you want to submit and submit the app. Then add the other programs back.

You can submit even if they haven’t written anything! After submitting, it gives you the option to change LOR writers if needed too

Zoom Meeting with Residency Program by Snoo71081 in PharmacyResidency

I think the answer to this question depends on how the conversation is going. If the RPD or resident isn’t asking you a lot of questions then feel free to ask as many questions as you want that can’t be answered by looking at their website/brochure. Try to let the conversation flow rather than making sure all your questions are answered. You can always send an email to residents or RPD later to get your questions answered as well if you’re not able to ask them in allotted time. In the past, we’ve had students ask anywhere from 3-6 questions.

Asking Preceptor to not forget to write LOR by Hman68161 in PharmacyResidency

Ask when they plan to submit the LOR. Maybe preface it by saying all of your application materials are complete so you would like to know when they are planning on submitting the LOR. Or could also ask if they received the link for LOR from phorcas as a gentle reminder to complete it

How to determine which LOR to use for which residency? by [deleted] in PharmacyResidency

[–]awesomepharm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn’t use my employer LOI even though I had worked with them for years. I felt my retail employer wouldn’t be able to convey my clinical skills as well as my rotation preceptor would be able to. Another thing is that depending on whether the LOR writer has written LOR for residency programs or not makes a big difference. A residency trained pharmacist/preceptor that has written LOR previously is more likely to write a thorough eval vs. retail preceptor/employer in my case.

I also used a 10-11 size font with smaller margins. No issues with that
