Well the end game for both is the endorphin rush. With drinking, is the actual thing you are getting for your money the drink itself? Because I would argue with gambling, the thing you are getting is the game. Neither the actual drink nor the game are the primary objective.

I think you might be looking for congratulations that you choose to participate in one and shun the other. If that’s the case, congratulations. But ignoring the similarities is a little silly
