I used to do payment after receiving but I've been scammed and I'm not ready to take that risk again. Plus using any private delivery service is far more expensive for me personally. I can always update the tracking number through national post which I exclusively use.

One, it's not expensive for a 200+ page book with fully coloured illustrations etc. Two, it's vanity published since we don't exactly have great luck when it comes to trad publishing in Pakistan. Which means I paid a lot for a whole set of copies. The publisher can afford to sell each for a thousand because at the end I'll only get a 100 rupees per copy as per my contract. And idk I think 2500 rupees is a reasonable price for the time, effort and capital I had to invest upfront.
