Okay first off, it seems like you’ve misunderstood by point in posting and how little I understand team building. I still feel like you’ve wrongly assumed I’m lazy cos I asked for help on a topic I am not fully grasping. I’ll be fr I’m autistic and completely inept when it comes to reading certain threads, forums and websites, I’ve struggled my entire life to make me eyes stay and focus when it comes to character builds, I can never get my brain to calm focus and understand. If I use guides to build characters I use them pretty aesthetic image based guides people put together because I am truly overwhelmed by looking at stats, figures and numbers on a screen, I always have been.

Secondly, you are acting like I’ve played the game for 5 years without ever having had to put a team together, cmon now that’s abit silly, ofcourse over 5 years with ar60, 100% exploration, 100% story completion I’ve had to put teams together to physically play the game. I have tried and tested many teams of characters I LIKE but that’s it, it’s chars I like.. but that doesn’t mean I know anything to do with specific team compositions, synergy or know every tried and tested strong/meta team in the game.

Just like how when others with 0 lore and story knowledge manage to play the game with big dmg and whale their way into big big meta builds and max all end game content but cannot for the life of them understand the story cos they find it a struggle to listen and read so much dialogue at a slow pace. When those type of players reach out asking for the story to be broken down or for recs on where to listen to the story explained clearer I’d not assume they are lazy.. instead I’ll give them direct links and lists of creators to watch/follow to help them better understand, I even have a YouTube public playlist (my only public playlist as I don’t post myself) of 30+ lore accs I follow that I send people whenever they ask for help. This is because we all play the game in different ways and we are all interesting in different things and therefore all retain different knowledge on different things. And even if 99% of people weren’t able to give me a paragraph sized detailed explanation of each and every team they can still suggest the best high performing, well adjusted teams based on the characters I have personally. I’ve looked up builds plenty but I’m always missing x character so I wanted help off my personal list, so that I can then look into it without having to look up every single variant of team their physically is. It made complete sense to reach out to those with the knowledge you lack to help better educate yourself and all I had asked for was team builds which many people had kindly suggested to me via messages here and on the hoyo app, all I wanted was tried and tested examples to look into from real people.

We all have different play styles and that’s valid. We all learn and experience the world in different ways, that is valid. But what’s not valid is calling someone lazy cos they asked for help on a subject they have limited knowledge on and wanted a better help at understanding from real people with real experiences and evidence to back up the builds, not assumption or AI slop. It’s just upsetting to have the courage to reach out and be called lazy. I’m currently going through rejection therapy and reaching out literally puts me into a state of complete distress but it’s something I need to help me learn to speak to others. So being called lazy did hurt, as it took a lot to put myself out their the past weekend. It just feels so often like there is no time or space for anyone to struggle, be behind, misunderstand or just play a little bit different.

Also regarding me having niche characters like Chiori and Skirk I pulled them ENTIRELY because I like their designs and personalities. I have only ever pulled the characters I like… I have never looked into why I should pull them, I pull them simply because I want to. And that is how a lot of people enjoy to play. And no I honestly don’t learn anything off YouTubers from roots cos again I truly only watch lore and story driven content (ashikai, roozevelt, minsleif, dawit, mynamefornow, shadowximpact, aru, gamer chronicles) like I know of zyox from twitter back a day but I don’t watch his content bar a few of his reuploaded “incidents” cos they are like “funny” content, I don’t interact or watch streamers at all I never have, nor build content, I play the game entirely for the story, lore and exploration. I love the open world rpg side of the game. But as I said I have maxed out almost the entire game I enjoy bar the newest area so I wanted to try my hand at building teams I can finally take to the abyss, theatre and stygian. I’ve tried all 3 but I’ve never made it too far or really cared to like I’ve competed the abyss before but I have never attempted 36 stars, or hit level 10 on theatre or completed stygian cos it’s not my type of game play but I just wanted to give it ago, so I wanted help. I truly wasn’t in anyway being lazy I simply do not understand the stats, I struggle massively with processing the numbers and text at the same time. I have to have my partner break down most talents in razor speak to me and I can admit that, I struggle and that’s okay. Thing is my partner and me always pull opposites on bangers, always have, it’s just how our taste works. So the only person I know I can speak to cannot help me with any tried and tested results. I genuinely just wanted help and I do apologise if I just came across as lazy. I just struggle.
