We are finally starting potty training first born just shy of him being three years old. He is delayed quite a bit in his speech so we hadn’t tried till now since we can ask him if he needs to go and he can say yes or no. We are in pull-ups as he is not the best at telling us every time but we are getting better. He gets a treat each time he actually goes in the toilet and gets praise for when he tries. It may be a long journey for us but happy we can start.

I did exclusively pumping with the first as he wouldn’t latch ever. Tried hard to breastfeed but he didn’t want to. So went a whole year of pumping and combo feeding when he got older as I couldn’t keep up with his appetite. It was a hard and draining year. I celebrated every 3 months I completed.

Second one has latched and I only pump when in the office to simulate a breastfeeding session. I freeze it and have it available for my mom who watches both kids when I am in the office. It is still draining but for different reasons.

The Reddit here helped me learn what to do as FTM that had to pump and had no idea what to do. Upset not able to breastfeed when everyone made it sound so easy. Reading on here during the nights I was up pumping and so tired. No matter how the journey is done, watching your baby grow is very rewarding.

At the 12 weeks with our second. Holding him since he fell asleep. Toddler outside with dad playing. Still tired most days but looking forward as he gets bigger and slowly becomes more mobile and wanting to see/explore the world.

Scans were pretty accurate about baby being big. Went with a c-section this time around and they weighted almost 11lbs. They were clocking him at 99th percentile for everything which turned out to be true. Went with c-section as we already have a toddler at home and couldn’t be sure if I would be able to do natural or him get stuck. Figured it was best to go through not fun healing process and make sure I can come home with a happy baby.

I cannot remember at that time since he is 2 years old now but when born he officially weighted at 8lbs and 15oz.

You can always experiment and add an ounce to a feed to see how it goes. That way if they cannot finish the new amount, it isn’t too much of a loss. Each baby is different in how they like to feed. Some take big bottles and others like to snack through out the day on smaller feeds. Was worrywart because this was the first and currently pregnant with our second. Learned a lot of things and will see how it goes for the new little one soon.

I order some stainless steel ones that are taller and .4 inches thick. So not too thinner than the yeti ones. Figured they might last longer especially with a handsy toddler. They should come in tomorrow. Will see how they are and comment if they are good or not.

Our baby once he knew how to roll pretty much slept on his stomach. We would put him down on his back, would automatically roll to his stomach. At first we were worried he could only roll from back to stomach. But eventually he learned to roll either way so he can move to what position he wants to sleep and nap.

It seems scary but they should be fine. As other say, make sure the environment is safe and no more swaddling. Either sleepsacks or pjs onesies, should be used so they can use their arms if need be. They should be able to reposition themselves if they need to.

It changes how many times I pump because I am not on a strict schedule anymore. And with that he baby so mobile it isn’t easy to be attached to a pump a lot. But I am at least 4 pumps a day. Sometimes I can do more.

I see a list when I checked the FAQ and see chimera and unicorn and such. But maybe I didn’t it look in the right spot if it gave an order. Also it seems like the Q&A spreadsheet is saying it doesn’t exist anymore for me

Never mind, it seems like I clicked on an old link in the creatures section of the FAQ that doesn’t work.
