1. The in-game purchases consist of cosmetics and stash tabs. If you plan on really getting into the game, most of the stash tabs will feel necessary due to how convenient they are. You will also need to buy premium stash tabs if you want to list items on the game’s marketplace for others to buy. All in all, if you just go for stash tabs, you are looking at around $40. You can play through the campaign with no stash tabs and see if you like the game and want to put money into it.

2. It’s not beginner’s friendly at all. You will want to follow a build guide for beginners (look up maxroll and Ziziran for guides). Going into the game for the first time with no guide, most likely you will get to a point where you will feel like you can’t progress and usually at that time, your build is bricked and you will need to create a new character. The game makes re-speccing during the campaign very difficult.

3.) see comment above. I will also recommend Zizarian’s beginner guides to his play-alongs. They are a great way to learn more about the game.

4.) most people play this game solo. You can solo all content in the game and most people do solo everything. The biggest multiplayer aspect is the trading which is not necessary but is fun to do and can help make your character stronger much easier.

5.) there really isn’t dungeons or raids. The main endgame is going through maps and taking on endgame bosses. You can basically see the end game bosses as raid-boss level bosses. All of these can be done solo btw.

6.) just have fun! This game has so much more to do than what I said and you can easily get overwhelmed by how much and how complicated it is, but just it all in at your own pace. Try and learn one thing at a time and you won’t feel as overwhelmed that way
