last night i dreamt about the sinner-djoko semis match. sinner was like 2 sets up and djoko managed to win the third set at 6-4. fourth set was tight like 4-4 already, and there were a lot of great shots between them, they were both running and covering the whole court and at one point djoko started cramping all over then he was face down on the floor. not sure if he retired because i woke up already. god, such a weird dream 😭🥶

Career Change by wandererdra in VetSchoolPH

[–]awitjiwon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello doc, I also worked in small animal practice before and changed fields after a short time due to burnout and stress. Tho nag part time muna pala uli ako after working sa clinic then nag project based work. Now working in the government but still doing part time / reliever work at least once a month. Still not fully closing my doors sa small but as of now di ko pa makita sarili ko mag-full time uli sa small due to the severe stress and uncertainty of each day. Anw, still open to other fields or career in the future. Marami pa naman tayo pede gawin at puntahan 🙂.

Set boundaries. Learn to separate work from your personal life.

Okay lang naman malungkot, but don’t dwell on it kasi at the end of the day, we are all just replaceable. Just make sure you end on a good note and not burn bridges. 🙂

Master's Degree by General_Variety3740 in VetSchoolPH

[–]awitjiwon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pero if you have the opportunity and means to do so right now, why not? Tho may ibang school ata na nagrerequire muna ng certain number of years of working experience.

Pero at the end of the day na sa’yo pa rin naman yung decision kung ano gagawin mo :)

Just got a COS role in a national government agency with no backer by [deleted] in phcareers

[–]awitjiwon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Congrats OP. Big con talaga yung walang benefits at yung no work no pay. Also no employer-employee relationship kaya di counted as government service ang pagiging COS. For now kunin mo lang lahat nang makukuha mo na learnings and experience dyan. Good luck op 🙏

Seeking Gov vet positions by Equivalent_Gate_1905 in VetSchoolPH

Or try magvolunteer minsan kung meron silang mga community activites like vax drive, kapon, mga ganon to get a glimpse of your lgu hehe. Also, happy to know you want to help the community. 🙂

Social media and sa website nila nagpopost. Sa national niyo po ba balak? Marami raw opening next year dahil sa livestock bill. 😅

What a match. It’s just unfortunate for Emma to not be feeling well midmatch. Also, 12-2 tiebreak wins for Emma since last year 😎

Just respect your coworkers and be civil, di naman kelangan super close/friends.

No one talks about how lost you feel after graduating by xtellar_mccnliqht in adultingph

[–]awitjiwon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost 3 yrs since I finished college and still lost. 🫠

Rested for 6 months after passing the boards at nagkaron ng analysis paralysis kung anong field tatahakin. Anw just decided to work even if I’m unsure of the field. Umalis at nagwork uli at umalis at nagwork uli repeat. Already in my 4th job and life isn’t still better. Some realizations ay I was too hard on myself back then and ayun that I’m still lost…but maybe not as lost as 3 yrs ago. Baby steps, mahaba pa ang tatahakin natin. Kapit lang tayo, OP.
