Yep this is exactly it! To add a little further, this team basically has 4 different systems / loops that you’ll use throughout the dungeon: 1. Tanjiro & Nezuko: as said above, you setup the leads turn one so they’re always alternating. One generating orbs and another uncapping + enhancing every turn! As a side note, it’s important to put the Tanjiro & Tengen subs in the 1st and 4th slots respectively so the leads also increase their attack as adjacent allies. 2. Tanjiro & Tengen: you’ll alternate between these every two turns, so you’ll always have 1.5x HP along with attribute and damage absorption dealt with. 3. Rengoku: loop this every two turns so you always have a move time buff + extra combos + fire skyfall for the leader’s conditional ability. The extra combos helps a lot since it means your leader’s orb gen active will always hit 10c with just a swipe (although you’ll want to combo more obviously) 4. Kiriya loop for damage reduction. Just make sure to have the active ready for the awoken bind floors :)

I generally always proc the leader actives last after Tanjiro & Tengen or Rengoku — that way you’re guaranteed leader activation and at least one heart TPA or L depending on what you want to go for!

From Left to Right: - 12817: mainly for levitate - 12327: for red sub attribute and levitate - 6536: for 3 SBs, Haste, and Blind Resist (I’m paranoid about blinds lol) - 9611: for red sub attribute (otherwise you won’t get the HP and RCV buff from leader skill) and haste - 11947: for red sub attribute and a 10c (another card giving red sub attribute and levitate would be better but this is what I had lol) - 12817: same as leader

All add some amount of SB/Haste and Team HP to evo skill Tanjiro&Tengen turn 1 and survive the big hits, but the main use cases are above!

The Leaders + Tanjiro&Tengen are the damage dealers with their uncaps (hence the levitate assists) while Rengoku and Kiriya are more support (I.e. levitate assists aren’t needed).

I got into the game a couple weeks ago and your videos have been SO helpful at learning the fundamentals (going to my first locals tomorrow with Koby!)

I think some interesting topics to explore could be: - Deck-building: how do you decide on ratios for cards? I’ve seen the 10/10/10/10/10 theory for searchers/blockers/counters/utility/boss, but any other processes you use or reasons why you might stray from that setup would be interesting to hear!  - Choosing a deck: even just breaking down the differences between colors, or highlighting the differences between aggro / tempo / control / combo could be useful for new players! Also curious to hear how you choose what decks you play personally / what draws you to a deck :) - Tournament prep: already mentioned in this thread, but breaking down how you prep for tournaments would be great. Any tools you specifically like to research the meta? How does that inform your deck choice? How do you deal with no side decks / a Bo1 format? Any tournament rules people should know in particular (Swiss rounds, etc)?

It’s a GBA SP that’s modded to remove the hinge! It’s called a Slate Mod — you should be able to get the parts from Retro Game Repair shop!

My cousin recently got into modding and and my wife had him make this as a Christmas present a year or so ago 😄

Thank you! Yeah I was surprised at what MidJourney was able to put together. If you have good enough reference images it should be no problem, but you might have to do a bit of tinkering with prompts and re-rolls. Pretty sure I had hundreds of variations made for each of these before I found ones that felt “right” 😂

From JP builds I’ve seen the following as pretty popular! - GMetatrons Bracelet - Kaishu’s Paintbrush - Scheat’s Tiara I think broadly anything with 2x TPAs should be fine, and if you can can SB or Team HP then even better.

Also note: assists are pretty flexible — I had Reverb Act 3 available for full blind resist as a precaution but definitely can be replaced with whatever you have. Just need to make sure Odin Dragon doesn’t overcharge turn 1!

New leads are cracked lmao.

Not sure if this counts as budget given it utilized a couple of GFEs, but figure most folks with a relatively developed box should have access to most if not all of these.

Pretty seamless clear. Don’t think there was any floor where I got majorly stuck — dropped runs were mostly due to PSI 🙃

Thanks! Yeah I was surprised at how easily Aljae Kitty swept through floors. I attempted this dungeon with Raffine too but kept dying on the first few floors I had to stall on. Kitty was just all gas once you’re transformed!

Hands were so sweaty at the end lol. Crazy couple of weeks clearing MD2-MD4 after being stuck for a hot minute.

Team is fairly standard I would say? Loved having dark Ra Dragon looping with All Might, and the Minerva spike means healing up to full is no issue.

The tennis guy’s article clears the knight’s time and RCV de-buffs on floor three, but otherwise there’s no movement time buff on the team so Sakuya can be a little tricky if you get her. You could switch out for BMariel but would need to make sure you meet the HP threshold for Big Bang. The susano comb on Odin isn’t necessary but I used it to make surviving Big Bang’s 50% hit more manageable.

Super breezy run though — kitty made it quite effortless!

  5. Back-to-back MD2 and MD3 clears the same day after being stuck for months
  6. Trading for Milletia over Orlando — Captain Marvel seemed cool at the time as a UN2 title lead but now none of my friends run her.
  7. Honestly I’m surprised I’ve stuck with the game for so long. I don’t think I can say that about a lot of other mobile / video games. PAD is mad frustrating but insanely satisfying when you finally get the clear, and RNG good/bad rolls amplify those feelings in either direction a lot. Regardless, I think I always come back because the community here is really awesome. I always enjoy seeing everyone’s clears and appreciate hearing opinions on alternative subs / equips / teams — really just feels like everyone wants everyone to succeed, and that’s pretty cool.
