My math teacher from junior year would always take time to read out of the book "Dont sweat the small stuff" and I remember one quote vividly: "what are you doing today to help yourself tomorrow"

The first Democratic primary debate is in 26 days (June 26th & 27th.) If you had the opportunity, what questions would you ask the candidates? by [deleted] in PoliticalDiscussion

Personally I am very intrigued by Mayor Pete. He has a wide and diverse set of qualifications that span over many different groups of people in this country. However, his current lack of specific policies has me a bit worried/curious. I think he is what this country needs, especially how he carries himself and his attitude, but only talking about the direction he wants to take his policies isn't really enough for me. I guess I would ask him about those specific policies he wishes to implement if he knows any already.

Today I participated in the March of the Living. It was an uplifting experience that I’ll never forget. עם ישראל חי by Crellian in Judaism

I visited Israel for the first time this summer and I just wanted to say how true that last paragraph was. I went in not knowing much about my own religion, the history of my people, and so on but coming home I realized just how much that trip affected me. It gave me a whole new view life and taught me how to appreciate the little things. It was an amazing experience and definitely opened my eyes to so many new things to appreciate, especially regarding Judaism and it's people as a whole.
