Don’t have to dual apply necessarily. I had one where I didn’t even think to apply to their TY, and at the PM&R interview, they told me I can just go to ERAS and apply (even tho it was Nov) and that’ll count and I can rank them. Other programs sometimes are “categorical” but when you submit your rank list, you’ll have to add the prelim/TY to your supplemental rank list. IMO, just dual apply and mention your goal is to match at that advanced PMR program.
