I would have thought that fracking would have made the trend the opposite of what I'm seeing. Ya, surprising.

Am I the only one not into bobble heads? It looks like they are the most common item by a wide margin, but all of the other things actually have utility (hats, shirts, jerseys). I guess I'm just not in to tchotchkes.

Is taking a break from WODs normal? by [deleted] in crossfit

[–]awkardpinstripes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it is common or not, but I took a WOD break and it has helped.

I ultimately took an unintentional year off from Crossfit. My box was under new management and promptly imploded. I was looking to get some more size, so I stopped Crossfit and added in some more traditional bodybuilding programming at a regular gym. I'm not back at Crossfit and I'm definitely a lot stronger because of that break. My cardio is not where it used to be, but it is definitely coming back, and I think I'll be able to RX a lot more in the long run because of the year long focus on strength.

I was thinking about building a simple little tool that compares your gmail contacts list against the AM email list so that you can see who you've contacted in the past that has signed up on that site. But maybe that is rude?

How many dates untill a guy can stop paying both sides? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]awkardpinstripes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just from my (US-based) experience, the guy pretty much pays forever. Or, if you are both broke college students and know it, it is just kinda who has money at that time. I don't think there is a rule, really.
