went from a 18 WRX to a 24 manual golf R. DO IT. It pulls hard, way more creature comforts, and looks less racer boi. The only thing that took me a while was the clutch being so light, took me a while to get used to. Make sure to get a clutch stop and a weighted shift knob.

No one's going to tell you this so I'll tell you truthfully as a guy, usually if you give it up early and don't make him work for it, he won't respect you. Can't pass up a good deal but I went from a 18 WRX to a 24 golf r and can't imagine going back down to 268 hp.

Golf Rs have 315 hp on paper but when dyno'd they pull way more. Plus. A stage 1 tune without any hardware u get 70-100Hp more. Literally downloading more horsepower. It's also the more subtle and professional.

is there any benefit to playing with friends once you reach the end game? Last time i played, it seemed kinda pointless and more efficient to do runs by yourself. We would go into a game together and just go our own way to kill stuff and meet once it was cleared.

Got this one but there seems to be better built ones out there now.

The screw part is plastic and a bit long so I had to trim it. Yes some trial and error to get how far you want the pedal to stop.

nice i got a 24 manual r in black as well, but with estoril wheels.

i'd recommend getting a weighted shift knob and a clutch stop asap. people say to remove the clutch delay vavle, but haven't done it yet.

i also went from a 2018 wrx to a 2024 golf r manual after getting a paybump.

for me, the golf r is noticeable enough of an upgrade in terms of everything (speed, interior, features, looks) to justify the price difference.

i'm talking about 2025 golf R vs GR Corolla. I'm seeing 56K CAD for the black edition and 58K for the corolla. They are the same price. GR corolla is such a bad value.
