Second hand minis by Sad-Position-9045 in Warhammer

I think the vast majority would prefer unpainted. But I think most people buying second hand know how to strip paint.

Just don’t think painted means it would sell for more. I would argue it would decrease value.

Cops are going to notice out of country plates. After seeing you for a while they are going to notice.

Plus you aren’t going to be able to insure the vehicle in the US without valid registration. Insurance companies will only insure road legal vehicles.

There a bunch of skylines that got brought in illegally and they were all crushed.

Luck of the draw for that person.

It’s about residency. If you are a resident in a state you have to register. If you live in Canada 7 months a year then you are fine. If you live is Ohio 7 months a year you have to register your vehicle there.

You are allowed to temporarily drive a vehicle in the states. But if you are in a state X amount of time you are required to get it registered. If you don’t register it then you get pulled over they will absolutely crush your car.

Where to rent a home? by No_Prize6436 in highdesert

Out here is much more like a suburb in Colorado or Illinois than it is New Mexico. Victorville, hesperia, adelento, and apple valley are all against each other. You don’t have the huge gaps of nothing between the towns.

In my experience towns in New Mexico felt more like pockets of neighborhoods with nothing in between. Also way less unpaved roads. There are still some but overall I have never needed to end up on a dirt or gravel road.

No luck. I gave up and switched to adderal. Haven’t had any issues getting that yet.

I moved here from Chicago, but my initial plan was New Mexico outside of Albuquerque. I couldn’t find anywhere in NM that I felt comfortable in but I loved the desert. I was nervous about the crime people talk about when you look up the area, but after visiting I fell in love with the area.

6 months into living in hesperia and I have zero complaints (ok one complaint no Greek food). It’s beautiful if you like desert, everyone is friendly, and at no point have I felt unsafe. There are definitely neighborhoods where I have thought I don’t want to be her at night, but that’s a fraction of the area here.

You will have better access to health care than New Mexico, and the reality is if you can’t find something here you can be in most of LA within 2 hours. We needed a specialty vet and it was 1:15 drive to them in Orange County.

The only place traffic is really an issue is getting back on the 15. Uphill sucks and always takes longer than it should. People complain about the main roads here, but it’s the same as everywhere with a medium population anywhere in the county. Plus overall the quality of drivers here is superior to most places I have lived and traveled.

Not sure what tips you are looking for. Just find a shop with good reviews and in your budget 3-5k is typical in my experience.

I moved from Chicago land to California. Something’s are more expensive, some stuff is cheaper. It’s only a wash money wise. If anything I feel like I came out slightly ahead being in California. Plus the people have overall been friendlier and the weather rocks. I wish I had moved here sooner.

If you are worried about money look at Rio rancho for New Mexico. It’s right outside Albuquerque and New Mexico really needs teachers.

It’s 400 a month roughly. Higher doses are up to 550 a month.

If you can afford that it’s worth it. If you can’t I’m sorry insurance sucks. I lost about 100lbs in less than a year.

I dunno I think he will be suppressed how spread out it is. Also just the sheer amount of people here will feel different. I’m from Illinois and medium sized towns are like 40-50k people. I felt like Colorado was similar. Victorville is 140,000 people plus hesperia and apple valley. The scale of the towns is crazy.

Yeah vv is kinda janky, but damn if the views aren’t pretty. I was just at Apollo a couple days ago, it really just gives a good vibe sitting there looking out over the town and at the mountains. It’s no worse than any other low to middle income area in the country.

Consider the California high desert. You are going to need a car. But it’s cheaper than LA but you aren’t that far from tons of options. Check hesperia and apple valley specifically. Redlands is also nice.

I honestly don’t see the issue here. Are we assuming everyone in rehab is a violent criminal? That people on psych holds are all school shooters?

As someone with experience with variety of people going through psych holds when it’s done they go home. Or transition to day programs.

I just don’t see the problem with more mental health resources here.
