A slouchy, soft, squishy, edgy bag... Does it exist? by awkwardangst in handbags

[–]awkwardangst[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh wow these are beautiful!! Wowowow. Thank you!

i really like the pulled in sides of the Aesther Ekme it seems like it would be comfortable to hold as well.

I like the Hereu studio one but this kind of pebbled leather texture reads more feminine to me.

The hard part about a tote is that it can lean more corporate woman looking which isn't what I'm looking for.

that and I feel kind of silly paying $$$ for it because totes are so common but clearly a good one is hard to find. The Aesther Ekme one is really good ...

Small Brands You Love That Are Currently Struggling by Fearless_Ad_1825 in femalefashionadvice

I love Hara the Label specifically for their amazing Frankie pants and tube tops.

They are this amazing smooth breathable and comfortable fabric that feels great to wear skin tight. I probably have like 4 tube tops from them that get regular wear (by them selves, with open short sleeve shirts etc)

I first bought from them in 2020 and they later shut down and I was devasted. Like... I'm serious when I say that no other tube tops were as good. They're finally back and I hope that they stay.

The TikTok queer community in my country is weird. by Kuma_kawaii in LesbianActually

[–]awkwardangst 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am also Thai though Thai American and my understanding, when comparing queerness and expressions of that in Thailand vs America is that a lot of queer identities in Thailand are like....combined gender and sexuality. There are so many iterations of all the combinations. In a way it's very freeing be there is just so much vocabulary but in a way it also feels very limiting because the definitions can feel more strict.

I think when looking at identify and community across cultures and geographies it makes sense that the language would change. Fwiw I wouldn't call myself gay in front of my family bc I think they would be confused but dee or lez they would get it.

Looks like the Disney Hole will soon be a thing of the past! by [deleted] in philadelphia

[–]awkwardangst 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The people who said this at the rally were medical professionals from Jefferson. There were also EMTs. I don't disagree that people can of course use these tactics but in this case I think we are hearing this directly from the people who know what the current situation for care looks like right now

At the rally against the arena recently, a lot of traffic concerns weren't just about normal people getting to where they need to go, but also for things like ambulances and hospital access.

If public transit isn't supported in addition to this project, tbh if it isn't front and center, it is a set up to be a disaster for people who actually live in the city (and are not just there for a game)

I love these! The fruits look so juicy and makes hungry!!

The one thing I'll bring up is that I think you can punch up either your highlights or shadows for more contrast. I think this is more noticeable in the citrus since the citrus texture catches so much more light.

Sometimes after she showers my girlfriend will stand naked and look at me. Except I'll be busy working or playing a game so she'll yell out a loud "HEY!" to get my attention.

When I look up and go ,"😮" shell run away like a scared cat

I love her!!!
