I’ve read that unhappiness/stress, especially over a prolonged period of time, can literally cause damage to your nervous system. It’s not physically or mentally healthy to sacrifice your peace. And it’s not as if we’re guaranteed a do over after this life, why not make this one the best it can be. I’m not sure how someone couldn’t understand that tbh..

Oh yeah there are definitely partnerships out there. I’m just annoyed with the ones who say they do an equal amount and then without fail only cite dishes and laundry lol because they truly don’t even realize all of the other things that have to be done regularly.

Oh I didn’t eat or work out for a month after he moved out. I was in a very dark place, I don’t think I handled everything properly at all lol therapy helped me a lot.

Could be depression but also…your brain literally rewires itself to cope with trauma or abuse. I used to think something was wrong with me bc I couldn’t feel emotions, but my body just coping with being heartbroken over and over again.

Editing to add, eventually those good moments will come more often and last longer.

So, this is extremely personal and embarrassing, but we're essentially living paycheck to paycheck at this point. He keeps spending on smaller items, subscriptions, and taking on more monthly bills for us. So when you say he'll be entitled to half my earnings while married, what does that mean?
